Load Sound File At 00:00:000 Position On Timeline?

When adding a sound file, can I set a default to have it load at the very start of the timeline, i.e.; 00:00:000 ?
Currently they load at around 00:00:27:450

UI Startup Template

Hello! Re new UI using a custom startup temple, for the most part it does launch with my chosen settings, but the spacing isn't remembered. The first slide of the attached screenshot shows how the UI was configured when saved, The 2nd shows the actual launch where quite a bit of empty space rather t...

Introduction

Greetings! Just thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. Just so you know, I am not a musician. Rather, I am a former radio DJ and professional videographer who still dabbles in producing broadcast spots, music mixes, and the like. I've really enjoyed working with Mixcraft 4 over the last ...

I can't use the "Goldenhawk Override" because none of my drives are detected in the "override" dropdown menu. I've sent you a support request with my installation log attached. I'm not sure what you're saying about clicking the compatibility option "before grabbing the log&q...

:02 Gaps

OK, since I haven't received a response to my previous posting, I'll simplify the question. Why am I getting :02 gaps? Settings: "Goldenhawk" is selected. Acoustica ASPI - can be checked or not checked (I get :02 gaps either way). Am I missing anything? And if not, are you absolutely sure ...

Questions: Crossfade Default & :02 Gaps On CD

Hi, A couple of questions: 1) When any 2 given audio clips are combined and (beginning and ending) are overlapped on the same Mixcraft track, Mixcraft crossfades them by default. Is there any way to overlap clips on the same Mixcraft track without effecting the intro/outro of the intersecting clips?...

Ahhhhh, that explains it. wnaspi32.dll wasn't present on either of my Vista machines so there was nothing for Mixcraft to default to in lieu of wnaspint. After adding a renamed copy of frog aspi to my system32 directory all is well. Thanks for the follow up :-)

Well, in Vista I believe it's actually "wnaspint.dl". I'm leaning towards some sort of minor burning compatibility issue between Mixcraft and Vista. I suggest this because the same error occurs on my Vista x64 desktop system AND my Vista 32 bit laptop. Or -- perhaps it's a compatibility is...

Acoustica Greg wrote:Hi,

In Mixcraft, click on the File menu and select Preferences. In the CD Burning preferences, try unchecking the option called "Use Acoustica ASPI layer."

Does that fix the problem?

Greg
Thanks for the suggestion but no, unchecking "Acoustica ASPI" didn't change anything.

WinAspiNT Error Message

Hi, Although it doesn't prevent me from burning a CD, when I click the "Burn Audio CD" button I get the following error message: WinAspiNT ( 6) Error Opening Registry For "Hardware\DeviceMap\SCSI\SCSI Port 0" Error = 2 Port Number = 0 When I click "OK" the same error me...

Thanks Greg. I know my printers and scanner have 64 bit drivers available. When you mention compatible hardware does that include external USB DVD-RW drives? I had assumed they would be compatible since the necessary drivers are contained in Windows. At least that was the case in XP.

Hi Jim,

Yes, I'm a registered user of Spin It Again and I use it often to restore old LP's and cassettes. But I don't see the connection as far as track mixing is concerned.
