Last I checked, Pianissimo reads a registry value to check whether it's activated.
You should be able to just move it to another folder of your choosing.
Don't forget to update your VST path if you use it as an instrument plugin.

Greetings, I have had a relatively similar issue with the reverb. In this case, a downgrade to a previous version I had on my old hard drive worked. Please compare.
