Re: How can I do this de-essing trick on MC8?
Hi, You can turn the volume down on the copied vocal track, and on the side chain input of the compressor use that track as the source, but use it ' prefader '. This will give you the signal to the side chain input, and with track volume turned down no signal to th master track. In the mixer view, ...

Re: How can I do this de-essing trick on MC8?
You are welcome. Have fun!!! - Myran So, I tried that last night, but I couldn't find a way to send the copied track to another output, maybe MixCraft 8 doesn't have this feature? I imagine you did this using 9, am I right? Buuuuuuuut.... I've found another way using a "quad compressor" (...

Re: How can I do this de-essing trick on MC8?
Hi, The solo instrument can also be heard. What the ducking did was turned down the other instruments in that section of the piece when the solo instrument was playing. This is similar to a narrator speaking in a documentary. When the narrator starts speaking, the background music or sounds, reduce...

Re: How can I do this de-essing trick on MC8?
His "dead output" is a duplicate track that is only used as a side chain input for a compreasor. It has no output to the main bus. (You dont hear it) In Mixcraft, I think there may be multiple ways of doing this, depending on the combination of MX version and specific plug in used. (I hav...

How can I do this de-essing trick on MC8?
Hi guys! I just watched this video with a very interesting de-essing trick by the "produce like a pro" channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0etNkadq34), but I got stuck when he said something about sending to a "dead output" or something like that... he is using ProTools, is...

Is it even possible?
Is my PC going to explode?
Is it going to sync properly all the tracks?
Got any ideas? How many USB inputs do you reckon I could use on the same PC? Maybe I could share it with one or two laptops...

Multiple interfaces recording at the same time tips needed!
Hello guys!! I want to do a little experiment and record me and a few friends playing live using many interfaces at the same, I don't know if that's even possible! We will use a Boss Katana for the the guitar on the USB, an e-drum trackin MIDI on another USB port, a ZOOM Uac2 recording the Bass and ...

Re: Keyscape and Mixcraft 8 piano roll
Ok! I've found a solution, I will post here in case anyone needs it in the future. I couldn't work around using keyscape by itself, but you can load Omnisphere and open the same piano sounds from Keyscape on LIVE mode (inside of the MULTI section). Now, all of the CC messages from Mixcraft will work...

Keyscape and Mixcraft 8 piano roll
Hello guys! How are you all holding up? I hope things are taking the turn to better days in your country! Let me ask you something, is there anyone here using Keyscape? I'm stuck trying to turn on/off the sustain on the piano sounds using the Piano Roll alone... The CC#64 doesn't seem to work on thi...

Re: Strange noise with Asio output
Hi guys! Thanks for your time! I already did the in's/out's of Asio just in case... no luck! Greg, I record in stereo sometimes, because I can use the PAN control of the Q802usb to send 2 mics to MixCraft, one full left, other full right... But, now that liberaltugboat said that about feedback loop....

Strange noise with Asio output
Hello, guys! It's my first time here! I tried to look for other posts with the same problem, but no luck... so here I am! So, let me start by my setup.
