Re: Mix Down to MP3 Problem
I prefer to do it in fewer steps. The program seems to offer that option. EDIT. I just tried another file and for some reason instead of saving the file, this time my computer asks me which program I want to use to listen to it. So - there's some wires crossed here...Is it a Windows issue or MixCraft?

Re: Mix Down to MP3 Problem
I did a search and found references to it in Users/ME/AppData/Recent and AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows But it wasn't in the folder where I saved it. I mixed down to WAV and used a program to convert WAV to MP3 and that worked. I was wondering if there might be a licensing issue. Years ago I used...

Mix Down to MP3 Problem
Windows 10. Mixcraft Pro 9. I am having trouble creating a Mixdown to MP3 file. I go to File > Mix Down To > MP3, find a folder to save it in, name it and my little blue wheel spins for a short while and then the Windows Media player pops up and I can hear it just fine. But when I go to retrieve it ...

Delay Loading Melodyne?
Mixcraft 9 Pro. Windows 10. Can I delay loading melodyne when I boot up? And if yes, how? I rarely use it and would rather pop open Mixcraft a few seconds faster.

Re: Defining the Key
How? I don't see a major/minor choice. For instance, writing in Em - use the relative major G or E (major - 4 sharps vs 1)?

Re: Arturia Midi Keyboard - Garritan/Aria
I also have Analog Lab installed and it works just fine from the limited keyboard and some of the areas indicated on the keyboard in Mixcraft are WAY below a one octave jump/drop.

Defining the Key
I am guessing that when setting up a song, the selection of the key has something to do with how notes in that key are displayed on the piano roll? If so, sharps and flats factor in to which notes are grayed out on the roll. If I want to indicate say E-minor, do I set the key to E, or to G to more c...

Arturia Midi Keyboard - Garritan/Aria
I have external third-party plugin collection of Garritan's World Instruments. I have it loaded in Mixcraft. I am using an Arturia miniLab MarkII 25-key keyboard and the instrument range doesn't coordinate as the Garritan displays the available keys way below the range of the miniLab, as displayed o...

Mixcraft Pro 9 | External 3rd Party Plugins
Does Mixcraft handle external 3rd plugins like Arturia Analog Lab, Garritan World Instruments, etc.? Does the main control panel pop open and allow for the choice of the individual plugins? Thanks.

Synth Pads Have No Depth of Sound
Still Newbie status. I just installed MC9 Pro and I notice the synth pads sound very diluted, no real sound. I purchased an Arturia midi keyboard and it came with Analog Lab plug-ins (I don't have them installed on this computer) and the synth sounds really roared. I wonder if there is a setting I n...

Can I Add More to a Track Already Created?
I created a track and want to continue adding more to the same track, same instrument. Is this possible? Thanks.

Re: TASCAM Interface - Guitar - No Signal/No Sound
I just started using the TASCAM and the first thing I did was go online for the latest drivers. When I plug it in (before booting up Mixcraft) I get a msg: Make sure the following driver has been selected with ASIO-compatible software settings. US-1x2 Mixing Driver. OK - I got it recording now. But ...

TASCAM Interface - Guitar - No Signal/No Sound
I'm brand new to all of this. I just bought Mixcraft 9, Windows 10, using a Tascam US-1x2 digital interface. I do not have any auxilary speakers - just laptop speakers. I want to use my electric guitar to create audio tracks but the track isn't arming and I have no sound. However, yesterday, tweakin...

Re: Newbie Workflow Question
I'm totally new to this. As a guitarist with classical training, I go for the bass line after documenting the melody. However my goal is to create a score to play over live. It seems like a plan to me to get a skeleton of the score and then start tweaking the parts. I was hoping to find some shortcu...
