I recently bought Tactic by Glitchmachines, a sample based step sequencer vst. In order to hear it play I insert a blank 1 bar into its track. For some reason that is beyond me it plays this one bar as 6 bars and then stops! If I drag out the 1 bar blank to 8 bars it plays 13 bars and then stops... ...

Hi, It shouldn't be a problem, and it hasn't been in the past. If Melodyne can't activate, Mixcraft will just start. Mixcraft doesn't have to wait for Melodyne to activate. I'm already on build 470 and mine is now working too.

This is going to be a major problem if Melodyne website goes down for a long period!!!
Is there a way to boot Mixcraft without Melodyne (without uninstalling it or risking causing more issues)?

My Mixcraft 9 Pro (64) has exactly the same issue. Was working fine earlier today. Haven't tested the 32 bit version yet.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I actually ended up finding another vst when looking at the Plugins4free site. It's called VeloScaler and does what I need perfectly!
