Cherry Audio Galactic Reverb reregister?
I found my copy of Cherry Audio Galactic Reverb had to be re-registered recently while it was already working in a project but just stopped working. Any Idea why this would happen? On the Cherry Audio site it was listed as Registered but still had to log into the Cherry Audio site from within Mixcra...

Hi.
Do you have Stereo Mix Enabled in the Windows sound control panel? It is normally turned off by default.

Re: Reel to Reel?
I have a half track 7.5 / 15 ips Revox A77 with remote (cable) that I've had since 74 and had refurbished twice and it's in reasonable nick but I don't use it with a daw. 10" reels were always expensive but at around £84 for a new 10" reel that I will have to re-bias the machine to use it ...

Re: Video Rendering issue with Mixcraft 9 and 10
Hi. I have just tried exporting a video in Mixcraft Pro 10 in Windows 10 Enterprise using mp4 4K files at 23.98fps and exporting to the highest setting possible within Mixcraft 10. The first thing I notice is that Mixcraft heavily used all cores of my Intel i9900K but did not use it's inboard graphi...

Re: My Noo Video for Noobs.
Hi Trev. Interesting. I wonder how they coped in the early 70s and before when all they had at most were stepped EQs, reverb, tape loops, and compressor expanders. I think I want to train my ears more first as I wish I could actually pigeonhole half of what I produce into a genre. Whatever I start o...

Re: My Noo Video for Noobs.
The main difficulty I find is making a mix that sounds good on a mixture or devices. The hardest part for me is getting the bass area correct. Sounds great on my main speakers or headphones but muddy or overpowering on smaller, less capable systems. I do not use a ton of plugins but often end up wit...

Re: Scaling and other issues
Hi Greg. I've come to the conclusion it is because with cursor stationary the waveforms on the tracks have to be constantly redrawn. The more tracks that show the worse the problem. Not so much how many plugins are running. I can run the same project in both versions and 9 just works while 10 freeze...

Re: Bouncing audio tracks.
That is a very old trick going back to the days studios used tape decks. You could tell if your playback and record heads were aligned or not or had a difference in sound levels from each channel. In the digital age this should always work regardless of daw used unless something has gone wrong in th...

Scaling and other issues
I've not experienced any crashes but I have found some settings of VSTs not saved along with the project and scaling issues with TB Barricade. Also a slowdown and in some instances a halting of graphics representing volume if the playback cursor is set to stay centralised during playback That does n...

Re: Micraft 9 Studio vs Mixcraft 10 Pro
OK, I have narrowed down the problem. In Mixcraft 10 if in the interface settings box I have ticked the 'Keep the playback indicator Centered, that is when the graphics response is slowed down on the mixer volume levels and some vst effects such as the Tone Booster Limiter. That works fine in Mixcra...

Hi.
Just press F10 in Mixcraft 10 and once the manual is opened you get the option to download as a pdf.

Re: Project does not stop at end.
Hi Greg. No there are no additional files beyond the end of the project. Yes, using the loop mode is what I have been doing for exporting and I do have instances of Galactic Reverb on two send channels which I fade out on the channel volumes which seemed to have worked in the past, but even then com...

Project does not stop at end.
Mixcraft Pro Studio 10. Hi. I've just been working on my first complete from scratch project in Mixcraft 10 and unless I have set it to loop mode the project playback just keeps going. There is a start marker but apparently no end marker. I tried to create one to no avail. I know project playback no...

Re: Controls missing in Mixcraft 10 Pro?
Thank You. I was clicking on the mixer faders. Now found and corrected. Was this change documented in the new manual? If so I missed it.
Thanks again as I use this option a lot to help visualise my mixes.
