The same can be done on Reaper using it's,"Consolidate" option and then it's Clear files option to clean out old wavs etc.

I never use Wave drivers of any form.ASIO is better quality and less latency problems in my expereience.

When you recorded the track you should have armed it for stereo.The tracks single tracks can record in stereo and this is required if you want to pan.

When you,"Armed" the track for recording did you choose Mono or Stereo left Stereo Right or Full stereo?

You may have just recorded the vocal on one side of the stereo track as each track in Mixcraft can record stereo tracks.
