Re: Low sound

OK. I tried a little test and that's what seemed to happen.
I'll keep checking back here to see if it's been resolved.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Low sound

I'll see what I can do. How can I tell if I have the Windows 10 Creator update?

Re: Low sound

I can do that, but it's just very loud, too loud as far as I'm concerned when I do that.
What is another option for an output from the stereo to the computer?

Re: Low sound

I am using my headphone output from my stereo amp, plugged into the soundcard jack on my computer, which is how I always hooked it up before on my old computer. I'm not sure if I have the Creators Update or not to be honest. My main concern so far is getting a good level coming in. On my older compu...

Low sound

I have had Spin It Again for about nine years now and have been mostly pleased with the product. I recently purchased a new computer and tried to test out Spin It Again. The recording level I'm getting into my computer is extremely low. I have all the volumes turned up as loud as they'll go, but it'...

Thanks for your quick reply. I got it figured out. For some reason the front soundcard jack's volume level was silent. Got it all back to normal and working fine again. Just needed to do a little trial and eror.
Thanks again.

SIA not recording

I've been using Spin It Again for about a year and a half, but had not used it in a few months. I tried tonight to import music from a cassette tape, and nothing is showing up on the recording level. I use a quarter inch plug from my stereo headphones jack, to a mini plug going into my computer's so...

Fading Out Tracks Early

Is there a way to fade a track out early?

For example, if you have a song that's 11 minutes long, and you'd like to get rid of the last half of it and fade it out; can that be done with this software, or can you only stop the track early, with no fading?

I solved the problem. It was just the grounding of the turntable. I had not used it much since moving into my house about 9 years ago. I had not really noticed the buzz because I had not used the turntable too much. The speaker buzz was causing a buzz in the mp3 tracks. My computer speaker still has...

Could this just be a grounding problem with my turntable?
I'm getting the speaker buzz without connection to my computer, and it only occurs when the turntable is selected on the receiver.

Upon futher inspection, I am getting a slight buzz from my stereo speakers when I put my receiver on the record player. I'm not getting a buzz when "tape" or "CD" is punched up.

Humming sound

I have been transferring some records to mp3 and have noticed a hum or buzz that's not on the record. Could it be coming from my computer speaker? It has a noticeable buzz, especially when the volume is turned up. I tried to turn it all the way down and use my stereo speakers to monitor the sound. T...
