Glad to be of help.
I don't understand either.
Should be source: Line In and Playback: Soundcard

On using the Microphone Jack, most are Mono not stereo. I would guess that you checked that.

Hi
We'll need to know how you are hooked up and what equipment you are using in your hook up. i.e. USB Turntable to USB port. We'll also need to know if you are processing LP's, 78's, 45s or tapes.

Good Luck

Hi
I have 40 songs on one file. It is too much in a way because it is hard to divide into songs as the songs get smaller. I have set myself a limit of 28 to 30.

Hi
To get rid of the hum you might need only to turn over the turntables electric plug; if it is plugged into the same plug bar as your computer and has two equal sized plugs.

Hi
It would work better with a Volume control device such as a preamp or old stereo between the turntable and the "Line In". Another thought. You could try a tape deck as they have a preamp.

Hi
Right Click on the file and then "Click' on edit and change the name to what you want. Many of us do so as a rule.

Hi SIA makes 2 sets of sound files when it does the digitizing process. One is the whole original string [the top music bar in the editing screen]; the other is the file where you separated the songs [They are all saved listed as "SIA plus a bunch of letters and numbers", with the largest ...

Hi It appears that you possibly don't have enought Available Ram to digitize a whole disk. Check your "Start Up' File and delete whatever you don't absolutely don't need. Also, disconnect , printers, copiers and ther USB devices before starting SIA. I use 4 Gigs, 2 gigs s/b the minimum needed f...

Hi
Try turning your volume control down. If you sent too much volume to the "Level Wizzard', it can't handle it. Just use normal or slightly highter volume.

Hi
Open the "Level Wizard" and see if your "Source" has changed. I have had that happen a couple of times. If it has changed to "What U Hear" the music will be of poor quality.

Hi Eric has given you good advise; a XP desktop PC works well with extra memory. However, if you want to keep trying to use your laptop, I believe that I have a fix for it. 1. Return your USB Turnatable and tell them it is faulty. There is no way that you can use it with your laptop. 2. Scour your l...
