You can also sort folders by Type in Windows File Explorer to separate out the different file types.

Are there plugins involved? Does the problem happen when there are no plugins? You can select the two clips, copy them, then open up a new project in the same instance of Mixcraft and then see if there is any difference.

Check and see if there is Volume CC. Click on the word Velocity and look for highlighted options that could affect volume.
