I know it's not ARA, my point is I have to use it as a track plugin.

But as you know Melodyne does not work correctly in the Sound tab. That is one I use as a track plugin so I can set key and such but I have to play the audio through due to the ARA2 missing

Another similar one I use is Vocalign, I have to play all the tracks and cannot just load and go.

This is not an area where I really know what I am talking about but it seems Mixcraft still does not support ARA2? I see a post from 2018 where it was said to be coming.

It's such an important thing, in my opinion.

I’ve finally learned how to really use Melodyne only to find this not working and no ARA2 support as a track effect either.

Hi. I normally just drag the midi from EZD (or EZKeys) straight into the track. Just remember to turn off 'follow host' in EZD. I've not encountered any problems. Thanks, not what I want to do though, I want to be able to use all the EZ Drummer features, I guess I could do it at the last minute.

This is an intermittent issue that I think only occurs with Toontrack stuff. I have my EZ Keys or EZ Drummer tracks using the Toontrack interface, so they are a VST but no MIDI on the track they are playing inside the VST. When I play the whole project or render it one or more of the Toontrack track...

To be clear making in the MC9 timeline takes away many of the advantages of EZD3 (and Native Instruments) so not really a workaround.

I've also messaged him but when I had this problem regarding Native Instruments that didn't offer any real response beyond going back to the VST version. It's frustrating when they comment early in a thread then disappear

It's a Mixcraft VST3 issue, no reason for Toontrack to do anything. Happens with Native Instruments VST3 also.

Midi tracked to the track works correctly

EZD2 is a VST not a VST3. This problem is occurring with VST3s. I have about 6 VST3's from 3 vendors and they all do this.

I'm in that group, but this is not only happening with EZD3. It's happening with all VST3 instruments and Mixcraft so is related to Mixcraft not EZD.

I also upgraded to EZD3 but am not finding this issue - all seems to be behaving normally. Just reporting it really. Same issue as with Native Instruments VST3's, when you playback using Follow Host mode it plays at 1/2 speed.

For NI they had a VST version and that worked fine but EZD3 does not offer a VST version.

Clearly a problem with Mixcraft and VST3's
