Re: Pianissimo Tuning

I have used this function quite a lot without problems. I can even use the ENTER key. Typing "-0.1" or "0.5" or whatever and pressing ENTER will make it stick. Typing and then placing the mouse outside the box also works fine.
I have Swedish keyboard layout by the way.

Re: Fun using the Video Track

I use the video track feature a lot with Mixcraft. Here is my cover of the J.J. Cale song "Sensitive Kind", which is my latest project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Otmkxj7IMl0 Everything is recorded in Mixcraft with pics imported to the video track. Here is another example, My own song...

Re: Vocal Pitch Correction

GSnap may not be the most powerful pitch correction tool, but it works. Here is my humble advise to get you going: 1. Once you chose GSNap on your track, Start by selecting the key of the song, by cklicking "Configure". 2. Use the default preset called "Subtle". This preset is th...

Re: Still images

I have used stills a LOT in my projects in different versions of MC. I have never experienced that MC rotates a picture that I put on the video track. Do these pictures appear correctly when you display them as big thumbnails in Windows Explorer, before importing them to MC?

Re: Mixcraft 6 won't recognize rewire.dll in edit VST settings.

This FAQ entry was very useful to me when I got stuck with the 32/64-bit problem with Reason and MC:

Re: Mixcraft 6 won't recognize rewire.dll in edit VST settings.

Here is a short description how MC and Reason work together: When you create a rewired instrument in Reason for use in MC, you save it within a Reason project file. When you close your MC project, the Reason application will also close. When you open your MC project next time, the Reason application...

Re: Mixcraft 6 won't recognize rewire.dll in edit VST settings.

Hi, I just want to confirm that MC6 and 7 do work with Rewire. In my case with Reason. I have no experience of Waves. The following versions have worked for me: - MC6 Pro 32-bit - Reason 7 (64-bit, with 32-bit version of Reason installed in parallel with 64-bit so that Rewire could work with MC 32-b...

Re: Mixcraft, Kontakt and mouse-scrolling.

You are NOT the only one who have problems with this. 8) I don't know how many times I have tweaked the settings of a plugin and then used the scroll wheel, only to find I lost everything. If possible, another solution might be: you get a "Save/Save as" message box appearing when you touch...

Re: Start Up Problem

Any solutions or info regarding this problem would be appreciated here. I experience exactly the same scenario using Pro Studio 6. It was not always like this, but since some time last year. It happens to me approx 25% of the time, with the freezing white screen. When restarting immediately after, i...

Re: Mixcraft 7 crashing when rewired with reason

Hi, I have been using Mixcraft's Rewire function together with Reason ever since Mixcraft got this functionality (which is great!). I quickly learnt to never touch anything within the Reason sequencer. Because if I did, both Reason and Mixcraft would crash. My advise is to only use Mixcraft for star...

Mixcraft hos no countdown?

This is something I have asked for earlier. A 'pre-count' option, so that when you press 'Rec', the metronome runs for a measure and then the recording starts in the far left position = measure 1. As for now, you press 'Record' with the metronome running for a measure or two and then start to play. ...

My wishlist for Mixcraft 5

Here are two simple things that I would like to see in future versions of Mixcraft. I haven't seen them being mentioned before, hopefully I haven't missed anything. 1. A new option similar to "Resize Track", but for reducing the HORIZONTAL size of the left part of the track area. By doing ...

I usually record my acoustic guitar track in mono, with either a built-in mic or a single external mic. I will create the stereo effect later, within Mixcraft. Once the track is recorded, I usually use the 'Classic Reverb' effect to let the sound fill both left and right channel in a pleasant stereo...
