Definitely worth a shot. I'd only rank myself at intermediate, so I'm not entirely sure where to go if the re-patch doesnt work :-(. I'm having some sound problems myself.

Try putting up posters in your town, using Craig's list, or taking out a classified ad in the paper. Many people on the forums are busy with their own projects and would have trouble finding time to help out directly. I wish you the best of luck!

If by sound fading, you mean volume fading, you could move the volume graph on the sound panel to compensate. As for the panning technique taking up room, you could set up a separate project just for vocals, record your vocals panned, then mix it down to MP3 and use that in your main project. That w...

From my experience, sometimes magnetic interference or poor quality cables could effect the sound quality. Monster Cables theoretically make a difference, as I believe they are better shielded and have higher quality connectors, but the sound quality itself prob. wouldn't improve unless interference...
