So I just bought pianissimo, and mixcraft isnt seeing the vst effect. what do I do? It located pianissimo right away with the trial version, but not anymore.

Hey I had a problem with beatcraft a while ago I really don't know if this will help at all...but my problem was fixed by going to preferences and changing the bit depth back to 16 bits (at least i believe it was that number, you could try 8 and 24 also).

Ok so I can use the master limiter as a global effect over the whole song which stops the overall song volume from going into the red zone. Im just wondering if its ok to have individual track volumes go into the red zone, should i lower the volume of those tracks?

Thanks that helps! One thing about the swing though. Wouldnt applying the swing add a swing to the WHOLE song? Is it a good thing to have a swing for the entire song. Also, for alternative rock type songs, what is a good swing amount to test with? Anyway, thanks for the reply.
