Well yes, definitely. Does the poster not have any midi clip or controller input at all? If not, there's the problem

Yes, riffer goes in first and then I have a cherry audio plug in under it. Works normally for me.
Are you playing into it with a controller or are you playing back a midi clip on the track?

I have updated to riffer 3.1.2 and it works fine here

Assuming you are using Mixcraft 9, we have fixed the "exploding project" issue, for Mixcraft 10. Please try version 10 with the same project.

When trying to reproduce this, the file size grows with each split I make on an audio clip, but it does not grow when using melodyne, finalizing it, then saving.
Can you get this to happen by just splitting the clip and saving?

Summary: He is saying that editing a clip in Melodyne, the mixing it to a new clip, causes the project file to grow by 1-2MB

Single chord? Like just hitting one chord and letting it play throughout the length of the clip? Can't you create one with a blank midi clip and load the virtual instrument of your choice?
