Re: Mixcraft 8 is Here!
Still not quite sure! lol sorry...
What I've noticed since Mixcraft 8, is if two notes are overlapping, the latter note is muted. Is that it?

A Melodyne feature in Mixcraft's MIDI Editor...
Hi, Melodyne seems to have this really cool feature where it will correct (snap) notes in wav form into the correct key. Some notes that are supposed to be out of key can easily be put back where they're supposed to be. It won't do it with midi though, which is a shame. What I'm doing now, is creati...
Re: Ghosts...
Yeah, now I know what the problem is, it's all good. It's not a bug, it's more a setting issue. A setting bug?
Anyway, once I know how to avoid the issue it's easy to avoid. Which is good to know!

Re: Ghosts...
Hi Greg,
It turns out I had the Melodyne VST3 'active' on the track. Take that away and all is fine. (Audio track, by the way).

Re: Ghosts...
Yes, just one the one track.
I checked everywhere. The track simply isn't there. It's not hiding, it's not anywhere. When I delete the track, or mute the track it's gone. When I restart the program it's also gone.

Ghosts...
For lack of a better word, I'm finding an issue with "ghost" sounds.
Sounds that are supposed to be deleted, and are not visible, but still, for some reason, there.
Is it just me?

Re: Remove M7 before M8 Install?
You don't have to uninstall 7. It's also perfectly okay to uninstall 7 then install 8.

Greg,
Yeah, can't see myself being able to afford that, though the program does look awesome.

Personally, I'd go pro. Mainly because you may find you need the extra plug ins in the future.

Re: Two concurrent "sound" windows.
Thanks Mark! This isn't a deal breaker, but maybe another suggestion for the list! I think the inclusion of Melodyne alludes to the need for this. So, here's hoping for something like this in the near future. Just being about to copy from Melodyne into a midi track would be even better, but I guess ...

Re: MIDI auto-quantize feature
Hi,
Open the midi file in the "sound" tab, click "Midi Editing" and then on the top of the drop down menu, there should be "Quantise". At least, I hope that's what you're after.
I hope that helps.

Two concurrent "sound" windows.
I was playing around with Melodyne just now and because it doesn't support midi exporting (in the essentials version) it would be nice if we could open two "sound" windows. That way those who don't have piano skills can play a tune on the guitar and then open that window in Melodyne and op...
