I was looking to upgrade my Mixcraft 5 to 6, but when I put in my email, I only get my codes for versions 3 and 4. I have a Registration code for 5 also. What should I do to just enter my registration code for 5 in order to upgrade?
Thanks

Re: Another Sampler question
I know what you mean. The only way I know to do that is to pitchshift the sample slices one at a time and move each one into the sampler. A long process depending on how many samples you need.

Re: Another Sampler question
Hi Lipperman - thanks for jumping in. I know this is a simple question - but how the devil do you import a sample in to Short Circuit? I have tried dragging and dropping - I have tried clicking on the folder icon and I just cant get a sample in to it. TIA John What I do is: 1. Open the shortcircuit...

Possible feature request
Not sure if this is the right place for this. I use Reaper quite a bit for some things, but would love to see this in Mixcraft. The ability to render a live output of a mix. Meaning that, I can play a project in Mixcraft and what is playing is being saved to a wav file. I would do this rather than j...

Track recording and sequencing.
Hi everyone. Is it possible to record from track to track in Mixcraft? For example, lets say I have A midi drum track with 3 child tracks (kick, snare, hats) and a keyboard track going for 24 bars. I would like to play the tracks and in real time mute kick and hats, then unmute, and then mute keys e...

Re: Using samples... How?
If you get the sample player Shortcircuit v1, you can open up the plugin, then open up the add sample dialog in mixcraft, navigate to where you have your drum samples and drag them from the mixcraft dialog box to the Shortcircuit piano keys.

Re: Using Kontakt multi-timbral (Version 6)
I don't have Kontact, but when I use adm drum machine, it would also play out of the master track. to configure it to play from the output tracks, I had to go to 'choose instrument' screen, and in the row that had my synth, there is a column called 'Outputs'. Click on the 'configure' button, and you...

Acoustica Studio Drums and Rewire
Is there a drum map available for Acoustica studio drums? When I try to rewire REAPER to MC6 the software crashes. Does anyone else get this problem with REAPER. Seems to crash when I push play on REAPER rather than MC6. Is there a set amount of RAM needed to run Rewire in Mixcraft? Then again, I re...

Are there any issues w/installing 6 when 5.2 is still on the system? Like dl files or similar? Will installing 6 beta in its own folder be enough to shield anything if 5.2 going wonky as a result of the install of 6? good news it's getting closer! I have MC 5 and 6 installed side by side. It seems ...

Great Job on Mixcraft 6, two things I've seen though
I noticed this with Mixcraft 5 also with the midi editor. Lets say I'm editing a midi clip in the sound editor. When I press play in the sound editor and make changes without stopping the play of the sound editor, the changes are off and not right. Where I put new notes are not being heard until I h...

Mixcraft 5 and Shortcircuit1
Not sure if this is a bug or I'm just doing something wrong. When I use ShortCircuit 1 sampler for drums, I usually place my Kick on C1 and snare on D1. When I open up an item clip on a midi track in MC 5, I see that the Kick is on C2 and snare on D2. Maybe I missed something. Is there a way to make...

Eric, Yes, I know they're audio files that's why I asked if I need some sort of sample player that I can use within Mixcraft. I simply don't know if such things exist. Obviously I was hoping that they do and that somebody could point me in the direction of one You can use a vsti like Shortcircuit (...

Re: Mixcraft - Beatcraft Question
I use Mixcraft for recording but Beatcraft for the drums. The only drawback is that you cannot control an individual drum in Mixcraft. If I was to put down a full drum track made in Beatcraft and copy it to Mixcraft, record all of the other instruments then, go back to Beatcraft and make 8 copies o...

I also do hip hop. I've gone from acid pro to reaper to mixcraft. Still go back and forth a bit but so far I've found mixcraft the easiest to use so far. I'm looking forward to the new features they may add in mixcraft 6. I just picture them being easy to use since mc 5 is so nice to work with. I h...
