Hi Guys. Finally changed from widows 7 to 10. I can record all on board Mixcraft instruments, just not vocals. Mic signal is getting to the track ok, but when I try to record it says "I might not have permission? Anyone know what this problem is, all settings seem to be ok?

Tried everything. Power setting is on high, drivers are current, yet it's still the same. Useable but annoying!

Hi Greg, yes i already had the latest drivers but downloaded them again anyway. still the same.

When I switch to asio it cuts out the 204 completely.The 204 disappears from the list altogether? Only option is SB card for playback and SB or USB mixer on record.

BTW windows 7 64 bit if that helps?

Is anyone using Behringer U-Phoria 204HD? Mine works but it keeps stopping Mixcraft from playing. Have to revert to the Audio USB mixer and then change the settings back to the 204, then it works again.

Anybody got any idea's? Tried various settings but no joy with any of it.

Mic into an empty programme still ocillates, sorry I got that wrong! Car troubles yesterday!

Changed the leads, different sockets etc, all to no avail. I'm going to try another mixer, just to see if the results the same. I'll keep you informed at a later date.

Hi. No matter what type of mic, dynamic or condenser, phantom power or not. It oscillates with any of the 4 mic channels. Tried changing all the cables to no avail. Thanks Mark. Yes, I still have the track on MX7 and it's all ok. Plays perfectly and clips too! Weird this is, plays perfectly on MX8, but wont play indivual clips. Tracks play ok when you solo them. Been at it again and discovered it was the Messiah tuff bass. Deleted messiah, then put it back agai...

Just for the record, the track was in MX7 example projects. I presume that is the correct folder?
