Re: All songs playing at double/triple speed???
I went ahead and submitted a case based on the crackling issues I'm now having. This just started and nothing has changed as far as I know.

Ok, so the timing is back to normal but now I'm getting pops no matter the bit rate I set. Ugh...

Re: All songs playing at double/triple speed???
It was set to 96khz. I set it to 44.1 then it slowed down, then set it back to 96 and it seems back to normal.
So, not sure exactly what happened.

All songs playing at double/triple speed???
So, i opened my MX 9 this morning, and no matter the song I load, all of them are playing at double/triple speed. Is there a setting that could have caused this I'm not aware of??
edit: I've restarted my comp and reopened with the same issue.

Re: midi volume issue
It does not do it using the acoustic piano. Yes 452.
It's doing it on my east west library instruments. As soon as I add any type of modulation (volume, expression, etc), if I remove all of the lines, there is no sound. If I add just one line back at the very beginning the sound comes back.

midi volume issue
Whenever I set a midi cc control like modulation, then remove ALL of the modulation artifacts, the midi clips no longer play. I have exit mixcraft and reopen to get sound again.
Any ideas?

Re: How to copy a series of clips
Greg, I can't do that because each clip is separate (see image). I'd need to be able to simply "clip" to the next beat/measure. On a side note, whenever I record something, then move the left hand slider over in the piano roll to be right next to the starting note, so that I can loop it, i...

How to copy a series of clips
I have a series of clips that I want to repeat over and over and continue with the beat. The only way I've been able to do that now is copy/paste, then line it back up. Unfortunately, it takes me a while to get the timing perfect doing it that way. Is there an easy way to do this? Each clip is on a ...

Re: Anyone willing to do a "pro" mixcraft session
Thanks to everyone for their advice. I went through and really spruced it up with EQ and compressors on each instrument. I added a violin and a chorus section. I think it's really come together and this is definitely the best version so far. Here's a link to the latest track. https://soundcloud.com/...

Re: Anyone willing to do a "pro" mixcraft session
To be honest, I like the sound. I would not change anything other than maybe add a higher octave cello or violin or a few extra sounds just for flare.

Re: Anyone willing to do a "pro" mixcraft session
OK I'll look at adding some higher notes as well. Thanks for the feedback. Also, my original intent of the message was not that I was ready to be a "pro", rather I was looking for a "pro" to help me. I only record a few songs a year. It's fun, but time consuming. Each time I lear...

Re: Anyone willing to do a "pro" mixcraft session
HI, I fixed the mixing issue. No more red clipping. I also fixed the beat/timing of each instrument. As far as I can tell, or to the best of my ability, it's 100% in sync now (ok maybe 99?). Please give another listen and see how it sounds now. If you have other comments, it would be great if you co...

Re: Anyone willing to do a "pro" mixcraft session
Fair enough. Here's something I did recently. A friend said he liked the overall melody, but that it sounded "synthy" due to using MIDI. I said, "yea duh it's midi instruments." I could use some tips on how to make them sound more "real". https://soundcloud.com/ouchris/...

Anyone willing to do a "pro" mixcraft session
I'd love for a mixcraft pro to take a look at something I've recorded and say, "oh, if you do this, this, this, and this" it will sound way better. Possibly even certain features I never use. I'd been using mixcraft since 6, and just the last year realized how to do a Master Track - :D Any...
