I just order the Alicia's Keys piano. It was $100, exactly the same price as buying the FXpansion VSTi to RTAS adapter. It's a shame because I really do like Pianissimo and love how it can make such a good piano sound with such a tiny footprint on my PC.

I submitted a report along with the problem midi files. Yes the midi files do have the .mid extension. When I try to open a Propellerheads midi file in Pianissimo nothing happens. I don't get the dialog that asks me which tracks I want to import and nothing is imported.

I became aware of TruePianos when I went to that thread. I installed the demo for TruePianos and tried it side by side with Pianissimo, going back and forth between the two. To my ears at least there is no comparison. Pianissimo sounds way better.
