Hello,
I tend to compose music, record it and then go back to it to record further bars using the same instrument. Is there a maximum number of lanes that can be created. How do I keep it neat? Do I merge thye completed lanes and then carry on?
Thanks
Glynn

Re: Keystrokes
Hi, If you click on the link in my last post, you can see the list of keyboard shortcuts, including an option to jump to markers. When you're using the pencil tool, you can hover the cursor over the end of the note to change its duration. Take note of the snap setting if you can't resize it the way...

Re: Lanes
Hi again Glynn. Just tried it again on a rough test and it definitely works OK for me. The only way I can get it to go to lanes is if I overlap the first section. Maybe zoom in close and make sure that is not happening. Also, once you have recorded the first part and set the punch in/out for the se...

Re: Mixcraft 7 suggestions?
Hi All,
My suggestion is for the forum/board index.
Are you able to modify the board so that when you hover over someone's post, the first few lines show up? I do find this useful and saves time when I use other discussion boards.

Re: Lanes
OK Glynn, got a better understanding. Assuming you want to do intro, verse 1, verse 2; first set the snap to "snap to measure" Right click on the track header and select Recording mode>Overdub. Now record the first section - let's say intro - 4 measures. Trim the intro to where you want t...
Re: Lanes
Hi! Just place the play head at the end of the recorded section - or where you want the new recording to begin. Then hit the punch in button and it will continue from that point. You can also back up a bit to get an "intro" and Mixcraft will begin recording from the punch in point. Of cou...
Lanes
Hi Guys,
I usually create my songs in short bursts and keep adding to what I have already saved. However, I am not keen on lanes as I just want to carry on where I left off. Can I do this without creating new lanes?
Thanks

Re: Mixdown with EastWest Symphonic Orchestra
Hi, Which notes seem to be dropping out? Is there any pattern to the problem? If you create a new project, can you duplicate the problem? Is this a MID file that you imported into Mixcraft, or did you create it from scratch in Mixcraft? Greg Greg, This is a composition made entirely in MC6 using EW...

Re: Mixdown with EastWest Symphonic Orchestra
Hi, Well I did find a solution to this problem. I saved my project as a midi file. I then copied this into a trial version of Reaper. When I mixed down in Reaper, there were no missing notes. How that can be, I am not sure. I do not want to use Reaper as it is too complicated for me, however, I do n...

Re: Mixdown with EastWest Symphonic Orchestra
Arpeggio ran 40 tracks on his latest EWQLSO project which sounded great to me. You might want to PM him on the EWQL forums to see if he has any ideas. I don't know how closely he follows these forums. I'm still here. One thought that might work (might). First: Load the project. Then open up another...

Are you using Mixcraft 6.1 build 209?
Try mixing down to a wav file with a sample rate of 44100 Hz.
Greg
I will try both ideas and let you know.
Done this, but no improvement, unfortunately.
