I'm using windows media player or VLC player, but I know it has nothing to do with it because this problem occured also within mixcraft, and other songs are playing ok in these programs. I'm sure it has something to do with the asio or so.. Please let me know ...

Ok, I havn't solved the problem yet but I'm on to something: I tried to use asio4all and it's working fine. But, I like the sound of the Echo Interface asio much better - there's zero latency, compared to the asio4all where there is a really tiny latency which I can't tolerate. However, here is the ...

Hey, I still havn't solved the problem, but I'm on to something: I found out that if I choose "ASIO" in the sound device, the pitch is correct when played in mixcraft, and wrong when playing the file after the mix down. But if I choose "Wave" in the sound device, the pitch is wro...

Hey Eric,

I didn't change anything, it is set to 192k on the mp3 or 44100 in wav.
I'm wondering if it has anything to do the "ASIO" is used on the prefences.
I'm using windows 7 64 bit, audiofire 4 firewire interface.

I had the same problem!! The solution turned out the be very simple. My soundcard has 4 inputs, but since I plug my guitar only to one input, in mixcraft, where you choose were to record from", I noticed if I choose "Stereo", one channel sound very weak, but if I choose "Left cha...

Can I record to mixcraft the output sound from my soundcard?
(I want band in a box to play something, and mixcraft to record it).

Hi Greg, The problem was that in the GR-55, there's an option "guitar-midi" on/off, and it was off. So only the regular output was working. The reason it still made some (wrong notes) is because I turned on the "V-Link" which is something that suppose to send midi signal to other...

Connecting guitar via midi problem

I have a Godin guitar, which I connect to a Roland GR-55 guitar synth. It's connected to my Audiofire 4 soundcard with a midi cable. I want to record using virtual instruments, but it seems there is a problem: Only occasionally the sound card recieves the sound of the guitar, and it outputs the wron...
