Re: Trying to set up Zoom R24 as interface
Update: Zoom has finally updated their driver for Windows 10 (version 2.10). This might resolve the problem I had/have. Unfortunately, I'm away from my studio for several months (long story) so I won't be able to try it out for a while. But also, I found an interesting tidbit on Audacity's forum con...

Re: Trying to set up Zoom R24 as interface
Thanks for the tips. Greg, the icons on my Win10 Start menu don't have a Properties option; only "Pin to Start", "Pin to Taskbar", "Run as Administrator", "Open File Location", and "Remove from List". Same with the icon under All Apps (from Start men...

Re: Trying to set up Zoom R24 as interface
So far just 32-bit MC. I've gone through several cycles of un-installing and re-installing both the Zoom driver and MC7. Each time with a reboot before the next step. (guessing I've reboot the system about 30+ times in the last few days). I'm using the following steps (as per Zoom manual): -power on...

Re: Trying to set up Zoom R24 as interface
Thanks for the tips. So far, partial success. I downloaded MC build 303, and that seems to be helping the system stability. Now the whole Win10 system is not seizing up when I configure MC7. Just to make sure MC was behaving properly, I plugged in an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra interface & all work...

Trying to set up Zoom R24 as interface
Hi all, Has anybody had success with using a Zoom R16 or R24 as an interface w/ MixCraft 7 PS? The Zoom R24 & R16 are multi-track recorders AND also DAW interface. The Zoom references show tips for setting up several other DAWs (Cubase, Logic, Sonar, etc.), but they don't mention MixCraft. Pro T...

Quantize an analog track?
Can MixCraft 5.2 quantize the tempo on an analog track? I know it's simple with MIDI. I didn't think you could do that with an analog track though, until a friend did it very simply in Garage Band. I recorded a 5-string banjo (bluegrass style, staccato 1/16th notes) on a few songs, but I'm not much ...

I'm looking for a similar solution. I've got a simple 5-string banjo track (bluegrass style) on a song. I'm not a banjo player, and after days of practice on a borrowed banjo, my best effort still had pretty shaky tempo throughout. All staccato 1/16th notes, and LOTS of them were slightly ahead or b...
