Re: Getting plugins to work
I dont get what Im suppose to be renaming. I have the text from the .ini file but it tells me to either identify the host name through the gethostproductstring function (I have no idea where to type that to get mixcraft's host name) or it tells me to rename the plugins, does that mean editing the .d...

Getting plugins to work
I found nice plug ins on this site (http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi) but it seems that mixcraft only sees them as vst instruments. The directions say to identify Mixcraft's Host Product String. Where would I find that? data. Apparently there a need to edit a .ini file that came with the .dl...

Re: typing in mixcraft
Would uninstalling and reinstalling mixcraft possibly fix the inability to type in the plugin?

Re: typing in mixcraft
The plug-ins are all set to omni. But I noticed the midi tab in the EWQL Play settings is faded out, as if there were no controller or keyboard plugged in. But this is a separate issue from the one that prompted the topic. If it persists I'll make a topic for it edit: the side issue of the undetecte...

Re: typing in mixcraft
Hi, Yes, build 204 had a fix for a similar problem with plugins. What product do you have, exactly? Symphonic Choirs? Which version do you have? Greg Symphonic Choirs, running on play version 3.0.37 There's an update I'll try later tonight, but the only change is increased compatibility for Hollywo...

Re: typing in mixcraft
Is 204 the new build? If so it seems the issue is still persisting with the wordbuilder. Is there a way to simply disable keyboard shortcuts, they seem to still be active when I have the plugin running...

Re: typing in mixcraft
@UilleannB: Yeah I'm pleased as pie, the wordbuilder works with ease all I did was run it out of Play, no problem... except I cant type anything. But that that seems easy to fix, hopefully at least. @Anorax: hey dude! Its build 201 of mixcraft 6. I think whats going on is that some keys are assigned...

typing in EW Symphonic Choirs
I have a phonetic wordbulider vst from EWQL, which takes typed syllables and sings them aloud. Ive gotten the application to work in mixcraft, however I can only sing pre rendered phrases, as I am not permitted to type in anything into the application when its run as a plug in. This seems like a pre...

Re: EWQL in Mixcraft
thanks for the help everyone it's working! Now I just need to assess the best way for me to move forward creatively. Btw, has anyone here got wordbuilder to work in mixcraft? I got it to work in stand alone mode easily but I'm figuring that within mixcraft might not be as easy

Re: EWQL in Mixcraft
So I got Symphonic Choirs and Orchestra. I want to read up more on orchestration and using Play before I compose with them, but I want to verify that I can even use it in mixcraft, but I can't even get mixcraft 5 to detect. Is detection better within 6? or should I just set up with 5. I was going to...

external midi divices (apps)
I was wondering if anyone with an iOS device has tried something like http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pad-midi ... pad%20midi or any other midi interfacing app (like touch sensitive midi controllers or whatever)

Re: EWQL in Mixcraft
Hey Mick I have been using EWQL Symphony Gold for quite some time. I recently installed Goliath. At that time, I also updated the play engine. NO issues I am running Windows XP pro 32 bit.. I do agree.. more horsepower is needed to do justice to EWQL Hopes this helps Pierre How many ewql tracks do ...

EWQL in Mixcraft
Hi, I'm thinking of using East West Quantum Leap Play engine products however I don't know if I should update my DAW alongside this VST upgrade. I was specifically going to use Symphonic Orchestra Gold, Symphonic Chiors and/or Ministry of Rock. I wanted to know if anyone used Mixcraft with these pro...

Importing tracks from other interfaces
Hi, I use Kontakt and I have a VST that within Kontakt has two tracks. Is there anyway I can route the second track to mixcraft's mixing interface, or can I not port the track out of kontakt.
