Re: Piano Roll Display Stops Corresponding to Track Selected
Hi. It's been behaving for the past couple of days. As soon as the problem appears again I will try to see if I can determine any specific sequence of actions, and will also try some of the suggestions. Stay tuned!

Re: Piano Roll Display Stops Corresponding to Track Selected
OK... to clarify, I am clicking on a clip within a track (there can be multiple clips within a track). When it's working properly, I can click on any clip (regardless of track) and the piano roll screen immediately changes. When it stops working, it doesn't matter what I click on -- a clip, and I've...

Re: Piano Roll Display Stops Corresponding to Track Selected
I did check for updates. I have V 7.0 64-Bit Build 251. How do I capture a log file?

Piano Roll Display Stops Corresponding to Track Selected
I've encountered a new problem in Mixcraft 7. I've been using Mixcraft for years and I don't recall this being an issue in earlier versions. When I want to manually alter notes for a desired virtual instrument, I click on the track, the SOUND tab, and PIANO (piano roll). From there I can use my mous...

Re: Mix Down To WAV Resulting File Sounds Different than Pro
The difference in the mixed file is the levels of some of the instruments. They are very pronounced when mixing, but end up in the background in the .wav file. Playing the .wav file in Mixcraft has the same resuilt as playing the .wav file in Sony Vegas, VLC Media Player, Windows Media Player, etc. ...

Re: Mix Down To WAV Resulting File Sounds Different than Pro
Sample rate is set to 44100 when saving as .wav file. I have the latest Focusrite Saffire 6 drivers installed. No audio enhancements turned on. Again, I have used Mixcraft 5 and 6 on this same computer for several years always with great results. Something seems to have changed with 7. I guess I wil...

Re: Mix Down To WAV Resulting File Sounds Different than Pro
I tested the following combinations with no difference:
Core Audio Wave RT with sample rate of 44100 and bit depth of 32 (no other bit depth options are available)
Wave with sample rates of 24
Wave with sample rate of 16
ASIO option grayed out
All test files pretty much sound the same.

I have Mixcraft 7.0 64-Bit Build 251
Using Core Audio Wave RT with sample rate of 44100 and bit depth of 32
I have a Focusrite Saffire 6 interface and for some reason cannot sellect the ASIO driver option for it in Mixcraft.
I will try alternate bit depths and let you know what happens.
Thanks!

Re: Mix Down To WAV Resulting File Sounds Different than Pro
Thanks everyone for your input. Nothing special about the project: 1. All settings are Mixcraft 7 defaults based on the upgrade installation 2. Sample rate is 44.100 bit depth is 32 3. All native Mixcraft virtual instruments 4. All native Mixcraft FX (in this case, Acoutica reverb and delay) 5. No o...

Mix Down To WAV Resulting File Sounds Different than Project
I recently upgraded from Mixcraft 6 to 7 (I've been using Mixcraft since Version 5 so I am very familiar with the application). When I mix a multi-track project and settle on all the levels, then FILE > MIX DOWN TO > WAV, the resulting WAV file does not match the mix of the project! The difference i...

No crashes on this particular time (although I have to say that Mixcraft does seem to crash and freeze more often than it should). I'm running 64-bit Windows Vista with a quad processor and the very latest build of Mixcraft. I mixed the project just fine, but the next day it would no longer load. Th...

No such luck on a back-up file. My question is, what would cause a file to become corrupt? This has happened two times in the past month. This is of great concern because a lot of time and effort can (and has been) lost. I'm now a little reluctant to start any new projects until I know what types of...

Softwre failed to load project - It may be corrupt
I've been using Mixcraft for the past year with generally great success... however, recently I lost two project on which I spent considerable time. When I try to load the projects I get an error message "Software failed to load project - It may be corrupt". I always save my files in two di...
