I have an ION Discover keyboard that works great as a portable device and an M Audio KeyRig 49 as well.

First step.....have you tried rebooting your computer?

If that doesn't work, have you tried reinstalling Mixcraft?

Mixcraft should run on just about any off-the-shelf computer from Best Buy, Staples and the like. The stock configurations should meet or exceed Mixcraft's system requirements.

Correct. The balance won't make a difference. I may not have been completely clear on my first answer.

It's actually on the RH side of the ARM button. There should be a drop down arrow that shows your audio source/sound card. Again, select the channel you DON'T hear.....prior to recording.

Activate the audio track in question, click the ARM button. Your audio source should be displayed. Then select the channel/side you're NOT hearing.

So if you're only hearing the left channel, click on the right channel in the selection box.
