Autosave in next build?
Hi,I was checking out some of the earlier threads on an autosave feature being possibly considered, and I was wondering if there has been any headway made on that? I know I need to save often, and I have been disciplining myself to try to remember that, especially after a few recent crashes, but I f...

Re: Trouble with MIDI drum signal
That sounds good! I am looking forward to MC6! Right now what virtual instruments I am looking to use with the drum pads are soundfont drum kit files, as well as orchestral type drums, like the big drums that are in Mixcraft already as well as Taiko and other ethnic drums. I look forward to being ab...

Re: Connecting external electric drum kit to Mixcraft 5
This was the solution to the problem...wish I had found it before I stumbled across the fix! In EZDrummer the midi notes for most of the midi packs are VERY short duration, often in the 1/100th of a measure range. One way to get them bigger is to use the quantize function in Mixcraft. - Open a midi ...

Re: Trouble with MIDI drum signal
Okay, I decided to fiddle with the settings a bit and I have the midi notes coming in as before, but on a whim I decided to mess around with the quantize settings. That seemed to do the trick. I have the settings at Quantize Note Start:1/8 Notes, and Quantize Note Length:1/8th Notes. These are compl...

Re: Trouble with MIDI drum signal
Hi, I am looking forward to getting Mixcraft 6, but for the moment I am broke, and I would like to finish the project I have right now before I jump into learning all about the new version. What I would like to do is to hear the drum notes in real time instead of going after the midi notes and adjus...

Trouble with MIDI drum signal
I am hoping someone out there can help with this issue. After some trial and error, I got the midi signal from my Yamaha Dd-55 Electric drumset to show in Mixcraft 5. However, the signal either appears to be super faint or extremely short. I have to hit the drums pretty hard for the signal to regist...

Re: Connecting external electric drum kit to Mixcraft 5
Turns out I had to restart the computer for it to show up in Mixcraft. Now I have a different, but related problem that I will start a new thread for.

Re: Connecting external electric drum kit to Mixcraft 5
Hi, If a MIDI signal is going into your computer, Mixcraft should pick it up. Make sure you've got the MIDI Out connected to the MIDI In on the cable. Greg Hi Greg, Thanks for your response. What settings do I need to have on my track? I am assuming I start out with an virtual instrument track. At t...

Re: Any newcomers to mixcraft 6? Here is a praise report.
Hey, thanks for your report, it is very encouraging! I still have Mixcraft 5, and I am looking forward to upgrading as soon as I have some spare cash on hand. (Tells you how broke I am and how cheap Mixcraft is!) I have been using Mixcraft since the day I ran into it randomly online back when it was...

Connecting external electric drum kit to Mixcraft 5
Hi, I am trying to figure out how to connect my Yamaha electric drum kit to Mixcraft. My goal is to use the drum kit to be a midi controller for my vst's and soundfonts. I fugured it would be simple, like the way that I connected my Yourock guitar to Mixcraft simply by connecting my midi to USB cabl...

Solution
After educating myself a bit for the last few weeks about the Hammond B3, What I was trying to ask before was if anyone had any recommended drawbar settings in order to get specific sounds or the sounds of certain players or songs, like the organ sound in "Evil Ways," for example. In case ...
