Also good for USB drives

I realize Twist & Burn is in support life, and I also no longer make MP3 CDs (and never Audio CDs!) but it's still a great tool for throwing out a listening mix for the road. My car's stereo can take a USB drive, and can not handle subdirectories very well, and T&B can take a song list, flat...

Re: re

You are a youtube fan huh? :-) Hah, actually not at all, but it seems to be the hip thing these days. I keep seeing this conversation on line: A. "What are you listening to right now?" B. "This band called Band Name." A. "No, I mean, link me to the youtube video of the song...

Yes, I'm talking about DJ Twist & Burn. In the crossfade time adjustment dialog (where I spend most of my actual time in the program), there are next/previous beat buttons that seem to look for the next or previous peak, which is often not the 1 or 3. :) If I could just nudge it an additional be...

Re: re

Ok, if you promise not to post your dance on youtube, i will dare to ask further :-) Well, it breaks my heart, but OK. I am not sure I get what you mean. Do you want a function to automatically take the song to half time? Like from 100BPM to 50BPM? Please explain further. For example, sometimes the...

Yet another suggestion. Nooo!

To start with, let me say that I still think DTB (or whatever its official unofficial acronym is) is awesome. I have other software (*CENSORED* and *CENSORED* ;) ) installed, but nothing is better for throwing together mixes. With a few minutes of crossfade tweaking, they're quite acceptable. (Or so...

Re: Suggestion: Numbered file names on Render To File?

OK, that's not strictly true, it APPENDS the track number. Not much help though. Ideas? A workaround is to use a tool like (the truly indispensible) mp3tag (mp3tag.de) to rename the files. Twist&Burn intelligently updates the "track index" in the mp3 tag field, so you can use Mp3tag's...

Suggestion: Numbered file names on Render To File?

After I reinstalled windows XP again (ugh), I noticed that I could no longer burn to my DVD drive. I tried everything in the FAQ, but an resigned to simply waiting until it is supported. Becuase...I discovered the "render to huge file" feature. I had previously ignored this feature because...

I am now hopelessly hooked on the "harmonic mixing" feature. :)
