Instrument showing up in effect list
I am having an issue where one of my vst instrument plugins is being recognized as an effect for some reason. Is there any way to indicate to mixcraft that it should be virtual instrument, not an effect?

Automation recording
I'm trying to record automation on a couple effects, like creating a filter sweep on my EQ. I can see a bunch of automation points shaping as I record, but upon stopping recording, almost all the little automation points disappear and what's left is generalized lines. For example, if I recorded in t...

Re: Alpha Sampler mix down issue
Wow, it worked. It makes sense but is there any way to check for the conversion in the software? Or is it just something that can't be helped and I have to go this route to get my samples to be the right pitch? Seems like something that should have been accounted for...

Alpha Sampler mix down issue
I'm having some issues when using the Alpha Sampler. I have an 808 pitched bass sample that I've been using for my project, and it sounds fine within the session. However, upon mixing down, the sound in the resulting file is about a whole step flat. This is my first time using a pitched instrument i...

One for the EDM/Pop enthusiasts
Hello, I decided to try something new and create an EDM style track, entirely with Mixcraft of course (ok, and Beatcraft). I know it's not the usual style of music found here, but it's interesting to see the wide capabilities that Mixcraft can provide across all genres! Please take a listen~ https:/...

Note input to Sibelius through Mixcraft
Hi all, I have been searching everywhere for an answer for this, but I still can't figure this out. In my work flow, I often play around with sounds in Mixcraft, and switch over to Sibelius to notate. However, when my keyboard is connected to Mixcraft, Sibelius can't use it, and I have to disconnect...

Omni Sampler question
Hey all, I was playing around with the omni sampler in Mixcraft, and I was running into an issue. Does anyone know if it is capable of stopping a sample when another sample is played before the previous one finishes? So that long samples don't run into eachother when played quickly in succession. Th...

Re: Back with a new song!
Yea I realized that a lot of the instrumentation I used happens to be in the same core frequency ranges as the vocals. This would no doubt pose a big problem. The mic that I used is a rode nt1a - a fairly good condenser mic, so I don't think the mic is the problem. Perhaps I could work on spacing an...

Re: Back with a new song!
Thanks for the feedback! I agree with your comments that the vocals could be more pronounced. I feel like my voice just has a tendency to blend in with the background, so still trying to work out how to best mix my vocals :P . Should I just bring out the highs on the eq more, or is there more to it?...

Back with a new song!
Hey all,
I know it's been a while since I've been super busy, but I recently have a new song out! I'd really appreciate any tips or feedback, and general comments are welcome too

automate effect on/off
Let's say I want an effect to only turn on during certain parts of the track. Is there a way to automate this? Basically automate the 'activate' check button on and off

Re: Mixcraft stuttering on low cpu usage
Various Vsts that come with mixcraft pro such as memorymoon, me80, messiah, glassviper, as well as heavy usage of sampletank 2. All my vst's are either wherever mixcraft keeps its vst's, as well as a vst folder for all my 3rd party vsts. I'm pretty sure they're all on the same drive... the C: drive ...

Re: Mixcraft 7 Pro and Waves Tune
Do you know why specifically it isn't compatible with mixcraft? I know waves tune requires rewire which wasn't available before but I'm pretty sure the latest versions support it.

Mixcraft stuttering on low cpu usage
I have a mixcraft project that is quite large, with many effects and vst's, so naturally I'd expect it to be quite cpu intensive. However, it is stuttering during playback, and when I look at cpu usage, it is only at about 15%. Is there a reason mixcraft can't use more cpu for smoother playback, or ...
