Where'd the Drumkit Map button go?

In the Mixcraft University MIDI Editing video , at about 6:42, there's a MAP scroll bar shown where you can select maps. Where'd it go? This video was released in 2012, so maybe it's been moved. The video seems to describe a way to create your own drumkit map. I'm hoping that's true, because I need ...

Re: Maping a Mixcraft Drumkit to a vintage Drum Machine (Casio RZ-1)

Ok, one last comment... Duh.... I shoulda just watched the Mixcraft University MIDI Editing video.. edit : After viewing the video, it didn't help. I had searched the manual for drumkit map(s), etc. That search didn't find what I was looking for, but the info WAS there! Search fo r: CREATING CUSTOM ...

Re: Maping a Mixcraft Drumkit to a vintage Drum Machine (Casio RZ-1)

Yes! Problem solved . I knew Dan and company must have pgm'd in this feature. No need for a long description. I attached a couple of screen shots. As I expected, you can do it in the step editor. I just didn't see it at first. I'm a long time user of MIDI programs for music (Apple II, AtariST, PC-D...

Re: Maping a Mixcraft Drumkit to a vintage Drum Machine (Casio RZ-1)

Thanks for the reply Joe. Yes I can do that, and even more. The RZ-1 has separate audio output jacks on the back panel for each pad. So I could record a Track for each one. I can’t remember if Mixcraft does it, but those individual tracks could them trigger drum samples. But I have too many songs to...

Maping a Mixcraft Drumkit to a vintage Drum Machine (Casio RZ-1)

Question : What's the best way to map the MIDI note#'s of a Mixcraft drumkit to an old drum machine ? edit : Solved! "SEE MY LAST COMMENT" The Quest : I have an 1986 Casio RZ-1, bought new, that I've programmed way over a 100 songs on, in about a 4 year period. I'm in the process of uploading/recor...

Re: The look of 9

I prefer v8’s mixer panel look too. I don’t think it looks XPish era as suggested. I definitely prefer v8’s track icons that were in color, over the new black & white ones. 🙁
Is it possible to add track ID icons to the ones provided? 🎹,🎸,etc.

Increase Bottom Right Window Resize target

This is not a bug, but a comment on improving the resizing of undocked windows. To resize an undocked window, you have to click on the very bottom right point of the window. It takes time to locate that point. Can you increase the target area to the anywhere in the corner? Like in MSPaint? When the ...

Re: Removing Reverb

Thanks for the reply Greg. I’ve been using spend it again since it was first released. I sent Dan some 80s recordings years ago where “spin it again” amazingly removed all the tape hiss & room noise. I’ve seen the expensive reverb removal programs out there. I was just wondering if anybody had tried...

Removing Reverb

Has anybody tried removing reverb with Spin It Again?? I know reverb is a moving target, just wondered if anybody tried it yet. I’m starting to experiment with it. Spin it again has worked wonders on the hiss on all my old band cassette tapes, and on my DBX tapes when us dummies left a fan or the AC...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Tom, Thanks for the reply. I did a quick scan thru the Mixcraft manual and didn’t find what I was looking for. I do already have output tracks setup, and assigned to 10 separate outputs on my interface. All that works great. I just need a master fader for all the output tracks. La PS Why am I runnin...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?

Can you add an option to link the output track volumes to the Master fader?
If this option already exists I just haven't found it yet.
I'm running a 10ch monitor setup at the moment and need this feature.

Re: Using Roland VK-8M to control VB3

Tom, Thanks for the reply! Yes the VK-8M produces it's own Hammond sounds. But the Leslie effect is not the best. **VB3's Leslie effect however is awesome!!** It's the king of Leslies in my opinion. Take that from a guy who's owned 6 Leslies over the years. I purchased VB3's pro version, and it's su...
