Re: Using Mixcraft 9 on 3 computers in same household

Yep, that would be one solution if you wanted to work that way. I have never gotten that "sophisticated" with my workflow. I got used to working with others and collaborating files manually. So I almost always have a current project file floating about on the cloud, on a portable drive, etc. I might...

Re: Another Zac Brown Band Hit

Hey! Nice cover Tom! That's fun!
The acoustic tone is great, and the bass sounds good, nice playing.

Re: 7 to 10 problem

I assume you are using the on board sound card and mic input.

Go to Windows privacy settings, and look for microphone.
Make sure its set to allow apps to use the mic.

I uninstalled Melodyne. How can I install it again and connect it to Mixcraft?
You should just re-run your Pro Studio installer. Use the link in your registration email from your purchase.

Re: Using Mixcraft 9 on 3 computers in same household

The question is simple:........ ........ ........ I hope this explains it. I doubt Mixcraft 9 works that way, I know 8 doesn't........ No? Why not? Ive been doing two and three simultaneous installs on my computers since v5. The only issue in doing what you describe is the details of file transfer ...

Re: Another Zac Brown Band Hit

Guilty of contributing to that trend here honestly. Lately I browse primarily in spare moments via a tablet, on which Soundcloud does not play nice and besides, doesnt represent much in the way of audio accuracy. I always intend to revisit via another path... I'll catch up one of these days. I swear...

Re: cant mute track for recording

Your synth going into the mixer is mono, correct? If so, that channel coming out of the synth should be mono. And the track in Mixcraft should be armed to record just one side, not stereo. As previously stated, I dont know that mixers peculiarities, and so forth. But I am betting you are somehow rec...

One last time Morty.
I was trying to point out that describing those, in detail- would help us to diagnose the cause of your issue.
You have given us nothing to work with here. Zero.

Be a little more specific
To start with:

* Mixer connections to computer.
* Mixer connections to instrument being recorded.
* Sound device selected in the DAW.
* Recording settings when arming the track.
* Monitor type and connection type/location.

Then we can go from there.

Re: pro studio 8 v pro studio 9

Try it out, but FWIW, I am finding v9 to perform better on my laptop, as compared to 8.
But results may vary.

Re: cant mute track for recording

Most likely: Your interface/mixer settings are recording the track you are monitoring onto the track you are recording. Probably due to a setting where you are recording a mono track, but set up to record stereo. I am not familiar with the unit or your set up obviously, but this is what I would be e...
