Re: Legal questions

A personal license is for the purchasers use on their personal computer. Not your friends, band mates, collaborators or your brother-in-laws. They should be buying their own copy. The samples and loops are licensed to the customer and royalty free for use in your music. They may not be re-sold/re-di...

Re: How can I adjust sound levels when importing from another source?

Your description is far from clear, but-

Yes, normalization applies to the entire track, so if I am understanding what your intention is.... That is irrelevant.

I am guessing you want to adjust clips or portions that you have edited together?

I think what you want is volume automation.

Please have a listen

I'd like to help my niece get a bunch of likes and comments to encourage her, if you are so inclined!

Re: MX9 new minus/plus percent instead of dB

I would agree. It's a quirky behaviour that needs a re-think for the next version.

Re: Waves Doubler

Update: I loaded up Mixcraft this am and inserted Waves Doubler to test. No problems. I will add this additional caveat however. There is a problem with my Waves installation that causes only vst3 versions to show up, and I still often have problems with vst3 versions in Mixcraft. I simply havent ha...

Re: new computer

Download the installer and run it, just like you did on the first computer.

You can download a new copy of the installer from your Acoustica account, or use the link provided in your original email, or you could use a copy of the installer transferred from the original computer (if you saved it)

Re: Setting levels in the real world.

I am not sure Nathan, there are quite a few potential variables. As you pointed out, and as I have found- duplicating results between DAW's can be tricky. I too have wasted some hours trying to duplicate others results exactly. And I do recall at one point doing something similar to what you describ...

Re: Waves Doubler

Yes, you can demo Waves plug-ins. Though IMO the formidable installation silliness is often somewhat of a deterrent to doing so. I'd rather pay a little more for good titles and have an easy installation any day. But it is always best practice to try before you buy whenever possible. Especially keep...

Re: Any Roadmap ?

Its been my experience that the development isnt often revealed going forward. Maybe an occasional hint near release time. There is a fairly comprehensive list of past fixes and changes somewhere buried deep in the site, but I dont think that is what you hoped to find. There also have been LONG disc...

Re: opening a mixcraft 9 project in mixcraft 8

No.
Backwards compatible only.

However, if your project folder is well organized, its is probably not difficult to re-import the tracks into a previous version and pretty much build a new VERY similar project.
Why? i dont know. 8)

Re: Setting levels in the real world.

I think maybe in some ways the question is very specific but yet unclear? I think I know what your getting at, but not sure. I use different meters. Yes I know what Dorrough meter is and what it emulates. I am not sure what MVM is or what specifically you are doing with either. I dont know what is b...
