Harvest VSTis a midi sequence generator that doesn't have its own sound source and has to have midi routed to another playable VST

Is it possible to do this with Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio and how would the routing work , be configured ?

Its an effects plugin that plays like a VST instrument and therefore has to have MIDI routed into it to function

If loaded into Mixcraft it shows as an affect and is available from the usual drop down menu
