Instrumental excerpt using a heavily re-edited imported midi file, and mixed down in MX8 to WAV. This was just an exercise
to evaluate the beta software, which performed extremely well.

All instrumentation and production conducted within Mixcraft 6, using Mixcraft VST's, Elka Synthex, Roland Integra 7 and Moog Taurus III bass pedals.

Of particular help was the use of Mixcraft's drum loop library, as it enabled me to quickly map out the drum section, then substitute in MC6's VST drums to augment the original loops and change individual drum voices to add more definition.

I can only presume that the instrument name either appearing or not appearing on the instrument column of MC6, is down to what's embedded in the original midi file.
