Re: Anybody using Jamstix 3 with Mixcraft?
Yea exactly. I have audio out and midi working fine. That sounds like the problem. I selected monitor on the input track. That doesn't work. Some people say they are doing it but have not responded. I'm really hoping there is a way. I love mixcraft and don't want to switch to another program. Is the...

Re: Anybody using Jamstix 3 with Mixcraft?
Could you please advise of how you set yours up. I just want to jam with audio input. I've read everything even talked to the guy that built it. Many hours, very frustrating. Thanks in advance. Reboot.

Re: Anybody using Jamstix 3 with Mixcraft?
Jamstix in mixcraft 7 seems to follow the audio track but no drum output??? It says it's monitoring midi in on the VI track. Could that be the problem? The audio is just not connecting with the drum kit? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Anybody using Jamstix 3 with Mixcraft?
I'm testing it now in 7. Can't get the drums to play from off audio track 1. Can hear the drums manually and the timing moves but. The timing segments move with the audo but no kit movement or sound???

Hi Vibrant Audio.
Thanks, I was thinking about the upgrade in any event. Small price for some sanity:)
Thanks Again!

Re: Export Audio and midi
Thanks Vibrant Audio. However... When I open the Save dialogue, My option is "use selection" Not "Mix each track to a separate file" as it shows in your snapshot. I am using v5.2 not v5. That's the only thing I noticed. It also say's the same thing in the "Save as" dial...

Export Audio and midi
Hi everyone. I'm recording audio at 24 bit 96 Hz. Also have 10 midi tracks on the same song. Would like to Export/Save All at 24/96. The program say's no way. I thought it would up convert the midi to match the Audio. Apparently not? So What is the Point of having both if you can't Export them both ...

Re: Track Degradation
Hi Eric. Making the Template...I set my tracks with the matching tracks on my card 1 thru 8. Arm the tracks and record. (After setting the levels.) When done, I save as "Song Name" then go back to the template a delete the sound from each track. Then I arm the tracks and record another. La...

Re: Track Degradation
I delete the audio, does that not also delete the plug-in effects? When I record on it again they don't show as being there. I then add EQ etc. to the newly recorded track. Am I not deleting everything??? The quality seems to get worse each time and the effects less useful. PS: Forget the reference ...

Track Degradation
I made a template so I could save as, then just delete the original tracks so I would not have to re-set the audio card settings. My Track one now indicates Track 47. I assume that's how many times I have recorded my lead vocals on it. The problem is...The VST's I add to edit the track seem useless....

Re: Electronic Drums to Individual Midi Tracks
Thanks for the USB idea.
The first 8 or 10 tracks will be used for digital input.
So what I was thinking is...using virtual tracks 11 to 20 for the midi drums
and assigning them as... virtual track 11 would be midi in 1, 12 would be midi in 2 etc.
Would this work?
Thanks for all the input:)

Re: Electronic Drums to Individual Midi Tracks
Thanks Greg...I'll check that with the Drummer.
The thing is, the Studio would like individual Drum tracks for the Mastering.
His Drum Kit only has stereo out so this seemed like a way to go.
Thanks Again
