Nice sounding, low memory requirements, and attractive interface. Great stand-alone application. Unfortunately, it doesn't play nicely in a DAW while using many of the other (industry-leading) VSTIs. I also had latency problems, several times, with and without use in a DAW. With keyboard (midi as well as usb), guitar and midi-drum devices. In many forums I found that people often ask, why their midi device is not recognized or doesn't function. Each time the answers are based on technical blabla what a normal citizen doesn't want to know about, UPPER en LOWER keywords in the registry, Logitec webcams etc. The solution 9 out of 10 time...

Keep the sustain pedal down, during loading pianissimo, or connecting/power up your input device (keyboard). Now accoustica assumes that the pedal is up. So the pedal is now working the other way around, up=down and down=up. This is how it works with my StudioLogic keyboard. Stand alone is not relev...
