Re: Can't Get Different Midi Voices in Different Tracks

You have two outputs on your keyboard in the back. Look into your MX 88 manual. These outputs will let you take the audio sound from your keyboard and, as Greg mentioned, you need to input into an audio in source to your computer. Then you can set an audio track in Mixcraft and arm it for the audio ...

Re: Pianissimo Tuning

Silly question but make sure you enter + or - and zero.number. Also the track needs to be set to transpose. :D

Re: Pianissimo Tuning

Use your mouse after typing in 0.whatever. Point the mouse outside the box. Don’t use the enter key. :D

Re: Gap between split samples

Make sure that snap to grid is off and zoom in to your clips and move them as close together as you can see with a slight overlap. Then play it back and listen for the gap. If it’s ok merge the clips. :D

Re: Computing Woes. Help Please!

Check the power supply in your PC. Most are usually less than 400 watts but some high powered ones are higher. Get a transformer that has a power rating higher than your computers power supply. :D

Re: Computing Woes. Help Please!

You can get a 220 to 110 transformer/adapter pretty cheap. Or you can put everything on a large capacity USB drive. Just remember to do the proper “copy project files to” when saving all your Mixcraft projects. :D

Re: unable to add synth to previous MIDI file tracks

Most of the time it's trial and error, knowing some midi stuff is sometimes system specific. Greg’s point about selecting a note in the piano role and clicking note properties is a great starting point for experimenting. :D

Re: unable to add synth to previous MIDI file tracks

Cactus-head, what do you use to look into the midi file? Also, there were no visible program change cc command in the Mixcraft sound tab, only standard ones like volume, reverb, pan and velocity. :D

Re: unable to add synth to previous MIDI file tracks

I will try all that... Yesssssss that worked... but why does everything get louder when I hit <stop> and <play> again But moving on... why can't I get my Superwave Equinoxe VST to work on MuseScore files? On the MuseScore file, set a track to a standard instrument, i.e. Strings to Acoustica strings...

What about the volume glitches? By removing all the volume cc from the tracks I didn’t notice any volume increase. But the issue with the tempo change increasing the volume and Pierres issue with start and stop changing the volume.

Re: unable to add synth to previous MIDI file tracks

Hi, All the notes on that Organ R track are set to MIDI channel 9. If you select all the notes, then right-click on one, select Note Properties and change the MIDI channel to 1, it will work. Greg Greg, This midi channel thing brings up another question. Why doesn’t the All-Midi setting accepts all...
