Armed for instrument - guitar DI. When monitored on interface headphones, no noise.
Even when input gain is 0 on interface still getting this noise in mixcraft.
Playback on recorded signal at 0 gain is clean, even though monitoring audio button on was still producing this noise.
There is noticeable noise floor when using monitor audio button. How do I reduce this? No noise when monitoring directly in interface, but when this button is active it generates noise floor. I don't have this result when using stand alone VST. MIxcraft prod 9 latest build Happens with multiple inte...
Upgraded to 9 pro. In the process of setting up I noticed missing VSTs. My version of 8 pro 32 bit has some that my MC 8 64 bit version doesn't have. 9 pro was missing some from those. MC 7 has some that none of them have. I'm sure having multiple version installed is not ideal, but when frustrated ...
Take a look at the .wav file sizes in the project that "loads" then freezes. I experienced a similar issue when a wav file within my project jump up to 3.9 g for no discovered reason. https://forums.acoustica.com/bbs/viewto ... 55#p116755
Greg, I think I have seen this graphic for using noise reduction several times in other post. I watched a user tutorial on how to use the function on youtube and it proved to be inadequate. I have never had real success with using this and it may be to operator error. If I set up the wav as describe...
Got the artist to take another run at the vocal. He came back with new lyrics, and still off beat.
Sent him a mix with my vocal, straight rhythm and melody. He saw the light and record this vocal.
hen this project is put to bed (hopefully soon), I will restore and review this 3.9 gb wav file. I'm head down now. Just thought I'd start the thread in case someone is struggling with the same symptoms, but hasn't yet looked at the files sizes in the project.
Thanks Greg. I will play with these setting, but in the past ASIO and my interface (old tascam) never allowed me to set latency below 30, let alone the 9 I currently use. Regarding this wave file, I suppose it is possible that I accidentally changed those settings? But as I said I have had the same ...
Had a scare last week with the project. Finally solved it few nights ago. My project started acting inconsistent, would not open or opened then immediately shut down. When it did open , after minutes of loading, the system and application resources were at 100 to 98% for minutes before dropping down...
Torton thanks for the detail. Good luck with win 10. I am considering reverting back to 7. I still have no issues with gtr rig 5 in win 7 and Mixcraft 8 pro.
I’ve gotten the impression that NI support is poor regarding gtr rig. But I’ll givw the a chance this weekend.
Not a solution, but anyone looking at this thread for help. I reviewed the presets in the sound folder, Native Instruments\Guitar Rig 5\Sounds. Found a lot of multiple versions of presets. Example: 12string.ngrr 12string1.ngrr 12string2.ngrr Deleted all duplicates in file explorer. Restarted Guitar ...
