Re: Audio Skipping - not DAW related?

Trev, I use a 120gb system drive (C Drive) and regularly move all documents, downloads, pics, vids, Mixcraft stuff to a separate HD to keep the system drive as clean as possible. You can still link to them on the Quick Access panel ;)

Re: Best Way To Input MIDI

I did a whole song using nothing but the piano roll ...

I found it not too bad. There was a great deal of copy and pasting but it was a great, fun experiment.
Making it sound realistic is the VERY hard part ;)

Go for it :)

Login or create a personal account here ... https://acdc.acoustica.com/

This should then list all of the software registered to your email address including the serial numbers you need for activation ;)

Re: Midi Keyboard Recommendations

No, it wasn't me but I do have the same style and can play it, as is. Style files are similar to backing tracks and are midi's in disguise with a .sty extension, you just have to play the chords and record it either on board or in Mixcraft, then play along with your guitar. The style files are easy ...

Re: Midi Keyboard Recommendations

Cobalt, in your present position, I'd buy just a cheap midi controller keyboard to learn on (even second hand). At a later date and with the advent of the clock sync feature of MC8, you may be better to save your money for a decent arranger keyboard. I use the PSR S970 and with the ability to play s...

Re: NI Studio Drummer, Multi Channel Audio Stem ?

Would it still retain the vst instrument and any effects supplied by NI?

Just looking at workarounds ;)

Re: Removing reverb from "live" room

But surely, using a condenser will pick up far too much room noise. I personally would go for a more directional option to better pick up the sounds I want from an angle I want

Re: Removing reverb from "live" room

Mic placement and type would be crucial here. Other than that, call it ambience and embrace it ;)

Hi & welcome Brewsir,
I would get my head into some You Tube 12 bar tutorials and make use of that keyboard,
You may not think you're a musician but you soon will be ;)
