So did 6 until I installed on a new system.
Yep. Not sure why this was implemented.

Re: Since installing in win8 I have to click notes twice to

I'll try to clarify this situation better. That is if we're having the same issue of course. When having already made a midi part, going in to edit from piano roll, it used to be a one click on any note to hear its tone. Now it seems you have to click it once to select the note, and click again to a...

I'll have to say that I'm on Mark's side of this one on all points. But, I have again learned some functions that I tend not to use. Thanks all.

Re: Video tutorial?? using multi midi channel virtual instr

Gotcha. I haven't screwed with much ARP stuff. An idea comes to mind, not sure if it will work... I sometimes add another vsti to the same vst track directly under the first one (in the section where you hit edit to open your vst you should be able to add another). This allows the two different inst...

Re: recording loops

I think outteh was referring to the fact that an audio track, such as the one you recorded with your acoustic, cannot be moved to a virtual instrument track, or vice versa. They are different types of tracks from each other. If you do try to drag an audio clip to a midi track it will bounce back to,...

Re: Close Micing.

I've put them 2-3" from the bell of the ride with no problem. But, for crash cymbals they tend to start sounding washy (like you have chorus on them) up too close. HH, and ride should be fine. Just don't be clippin.8-)

Re: Video tutorial?? using multi midi channel virtual instr

Part 1: My question is which vsti are you using to get all of the above mentioned instruments from? Maybe it has an internal mixing section to send each instrument to a respective 'child' channel under the main vst channel in Mixcraft. Part 2: I'm not sure about this. What I have done is to take the...

Re: Bringing the volume up

Hi, The best way to do it would be to record it again and make sure that the volume is turned as high as it can go without dipping into the red on the loud parts. That would give you the highest quality recording. For the existing recording, you can try adding a compression effect to boost the soun...

Re: electronic drums through Mixcraft drum vst ??

From looking thru your manual it looks like, on the dtx, you want to look for voice parameters, and note #. Once you find that section on the dtx you should be able to scroll thru the different notes, or drum sound's to choose from. It has to be some strange anomaly that those notes wouldn't paste w...
