Re: Need help with "Noise" from recording..

Thanks for the reply trevlyns, and you might be right. It doesnt make much sense to me though, but i guess its all about learning. The only difference i can see from my set-up for the recording and the guy in the video is that he has his mic "facing down" or hanging, while mine has been used same wa...

Re: Need help with "Noise" from recording..

Much much appreciated Gypsy101! :D Im only guessing as my knowledge on matter is limited, but if i were to guess i would say that the "noise" is either from my computer running (i stretch the cable/mic as far as it can go in the room) or my mic settings (no clue how to adjust them as i use my guitar...

I recently baught a rode m3 condencer mic with the goal to use it to add one of my accoustic guitars to my music. After trying a bit using my internal soundcar...

Re: Midi question (Mixcraft 6)

I have this one but haven't tried it for anything yet. http://www.mymusictools.com/midi_tools_20/audio_to_midi_vst_pc_26054.htm Cubase 7 has it & Melodyne does too but they're pretty spendy. That actually works, sadly i can only save 10 sec without a registered version, and i cant seem to figure ou...

Re: Midi question (Mixcraft 6)

I know its not the same thing, but i figured it was worth a shot as re-recording it isnt tempting, and allthough i may find another software or something to do the trick, it would be neat if i could use same main for all my work, but yeah..time will tell if i scrath the idea or continue to look into...

Midi question (Mixcraft 6)

This may be answered somewhere, only did a "lazy" search with keywords, but i have a question.. Im currently working on my first real album, and planning my first single release, I want to do something sorta unnexpected with it, so i had this idea to make a 8bit/chiptune remix of the song i will dro...

Re: QUick question about manipulating tempo..

Thanks for answering:) Yes, i meant by using my midi keyboard. What i was worried about was that by speeding up the keyboard/piano track later it will sound either weird or bad. Just to clarify that my idea was to use my midi keyboard to record a audio track with the guitar part slowed down. I imagi...

QUick question about manipulating tempo..

Hey. I was playing around with a guitar part this morning, and for some reason i think it will sound really cool as a intro with piano/keyboard/organ behind it. My problem is i cant play piano to save my life, lol i just had an idea (im sure there are easier ways to do it, but if i go for this one..)...

Re: Tutorial request

Thanks for answering and for the links. @mbliss. I dont know why others feel that way or think that, but i have based it on these 3 things a) the library b) the fact that if you search "mixcraft" on youtube etc.. 99,9% of your hit will be songs people made with nothing but loops from the library wit...

Tutorial request

Hey. I started recording with Mixcraft and baught mixcraft 6 this summer. I know that the software is mostly targeted and perfected? towards "loop" based music. However i am one of those who uses Mixcraft to record myself playing actual instruments and vocals etc with the occational midi instrument ...
