I undock to a second, larger screen and it's great.

Re: 2 problems following laptop upgrade- Driver selection issue and signal fade
Good to hear, I saw a mention of asio4all and that made me wonder about the drivers.

Re: Save and move file
I copied the entire file over when I got a new computer so yes it will work. Make sure you copy the entire file though.

Make sure that the device is selected as default and that the settings in Windows match the settings for your interface. Right click on speaker>Open Sound Settings>Sound Control Panel (right side). Re: A couple of questions
I know you can disable or turn off plugins a couple different ways. I'm no computer guru but I would assume that the more you have open the more resources you would use, whether having them open and disabled or off, not sure of the impact. I do know that if you have the GUI open it'll use more juice...

Re: Midi learning problems-Arturia Keylab
Good news that you're getting somewhere! I've never had any mod wheel issues but it's a somewhat common issue, someone should be chiming in or you can start a mod wheel/Kontakt post. Not familiar with Kontakt either but there're some folks here who use it extensively, I'm sure you'll hear something ...

Re: Midi learning problems-Arturia Keylab
Have you tried the Mackie and/or Mackie 2 settings in MC? Settings>Control Surfaces>dropdown. I would try setting Keylab and MC to Mackie.

Re: Midi learning problems-Arturia Keylab
Does the keyboard have software where you can alter the midi/cc#'s? I know that I had to go through Korg and Akai software to manually assign my controller knobs and faders to their own cc# so their wouldn't be the same number sharing a fader, knob or keys for instance. There's a Midi Control Center...

Re: Mackie MCU Pro vs Behringer X Touch
Member bought Xtouch recently and said he'd get back. I really like the look of the Xtouch but like I said, I'd feel guilty with a bunch of buttons and other functionalities that I couldn't use. As for the pots you should be able to assign them to vst/i if you set them as different cc #'s so they do...

Re: TASCAM US16X8 and delay in recordings
Recording the metronome from the headphones into a mic is causing your delay.

Re: I/O issue. Delay in tracking audio.
The delay is caused by the metronome signal going to the headphones and back through the mic.
