Re: Studio Drum sounds and VST sounds.

And a heads up...if you want Cymbal Sounds, go to Paiste's site. They have samples of every cymbal they make. There are good sounds in there and they are Free, easy to down load, and easy to use in MC7! That sounds like a great resource - thanks for the info. I have had a look on the Paiste UK webs...

Re: Studio Drum sounds and VST sounds.

Being a drummer myself, I opted to purchase ezdrummer2. The basic package didn't offer a wide variety of options, but it has stuff adequate for what I am doing, and there are add on packs, as well. And a heads up...if you want Cymbal Sounds, go to Paiste's site. They have samples of every cymbal the...

Re: Hardware options and usage...

I went with an Allen and Heath ZED14. It will be here today. It will allow me to run everything through the mixer for my "live monitoring" and I plan to assign aux 1 and aux 2 to be left and right going into MC7 via USB. The USB is assignable, making this ideal for my needs. I'll dig in later, after...

Hardware options and usage...

(Bad joke alert...) I am looking for a car that I can load the whole family into comfortably, that gets great gas mileage and that will go 0-60 in 2 seconds flat and that handles like it is on rails. Suggestions? Now, the REAL question... I have been using a Behringer UMC202HD USB interface and it s...

Hmmm that is kind of interesting. ...a 9-piece Sonor kit ...here in Jacksonville, FL.) ktk I was an Authorized Sonor Dealer 10-12 years ago and am the only active admin (Jules) at this time on the sonormuseum. I'll be vacationing in Jacksonville early next month. Nothing relevant to fixing problems...

Re: How do I import midi drum sounds (samples)?

I'm lost. I've been reading and following along in multiple threads hoping someone would help, because I dont feel I can at this point. Did the vague comment in another thread mean you have sorted this out? It seems we have gone full circle back to some of the unanswered questions from earlier in t...

Latency issues from Electronic Drum Kit

I have corrected my latency issues within the PC/software and my guitar and bass playing syncs up real nicely with other tracks. I have EXdrummers pulled up in a virtual track and when I strike the keys of my USB keyboard Samson Carbon 61, the response is immediate. However, when I try to play using...

Hi,

Did you install them from a CD? There might be newer ones on the web page.

Re: Track speed (not latency) issues.

Hi, I'm not recommending ASIO4All. I recommend that you use the ASIO driver that was made for your interface: U-PHORIA UMC202HD downloads . It's generally always better to use the ASIO driver that was designed for your specific audio interface. The only reason I mentioned ASIO4All, which is just a ...

Re: Track speed (not latency) issues.

Hi, When you play the audio you recorded, the recorded track gradually starts getting ahead of the other tracks? Is that correct? That could mean that you've got your latency set too low. Little tiny bits of audio are getting skipped. Your recording through a Xenyx? Are you using ASIO4all? Greg To ...

Track speed (not latency) issues.

This is my first time trying to do a live recording in a couple of weeks. I took the day off work to do it. I don't THINK this is a latency issue, and I'll do my best to describe the situation clearly. Keep in mind that I am using a new PC (specs listed in my Signature). When I am playing the guitar...

Re: How do I import midi drum sounds (samples)?

Once again, I have wasted the better part of a day and gotten about no where, and I don't know why I can't figure this out. I am going to ask a single, and hopefully simple question. If I can get an answer, I'll be most grateful. I don't currently have a need for EZD2, in and of itself, I just want ...
