Re: What are you using for a filter plugin?

Hi Mark,

Precisely, HP, LP and BP, limited functions, automation capable, graph style interface. Basically for using in the moment as an instrument rather than a mixing device. That one I posted comes pretty close, just curious to know what's out there.

Re: What are you using for a filter plugin?

Hi again,

This RAZ filterbox seems to fit the bill really well, and is pretty much what I was talking about. Check it out!

What are you using for a filter plugin?

Good morning, Unless I'm missing something, Pro Studio doesn't really have a performance-style graphical filter plugin like you'd find on say Ableton, Bitwig, etc... EZ-q probably comes the closest but isn't really the same thing. I suppose you could use the parametric EQ to do the same thing, but t...

Re: Toneboosters plugins sidechain-capable?

Greg, Lol I was just about to report back the same thing. I guess there are "in-side" chains and "out-side" chains. Who knew?! You could use the Audio Control but that wouldn't actually feed audio to the compressor for obvious reasons, so I guess you could automate the threshold knob with it? ...

Re: Toneboosters plugins sidechain-capable?

Hi,

This seems to still be an issue with the TB Compressor, it has a sidechain high pass filter so I'm assuming that it should be sidechain capable, but the menu isn't coming up.

Re: Andrew Huang Complete Production Class

Out of curiosity, did you copy and paste, drag and drop, step wright or actually play/record the chord progression? Yes. LOL. First I played it in as straight chords (quarter notes), then fiddled with the chord voicings a little bit to add some voice leading, then selected the tenor line and dragge...

Re: Initial Start Velocity

Hi, Gotya. Well in that case there are some MIDI CC parameters you could try reducing, such as Volume, Expression, might even be a Soft Pedal. If you make a blank MIDI clip and draw in those parameters and play it back momentarily that should do what you are looking for, although not all instruments...

Re: Initial Start Velocity

Good morning! One thing you could do is just pull up the velocity after you've recorded it, and all the relative velocities will still be preserved. When you select all of the notes in the piano roll there will be a grab handle down over the velocity section where you can accomplish this. If you wan...

Re: Automatic plugin management

Does the Pro Tools feature do a good job of it? Hi Greg, My secondary DAW does a pretty decent job with it, but the self-organizing features are pretty simple and basic. It: 1. Is somehow able to identify plugin directories by itself. 2. Color codes plugins by whether they are 32, 64, VST3, etc... ...

Good morning,

This is not a feature of Mixcraft yet but it is often requested which means chances are pretty good it will be incorporated into MC in the future.
