Re: Its recording but cant see wave forms
No idea about wersion 6, but in the newer versions there is an option in display preferences 'Draw audio and MIDI data on clips'.

Re: VST3 to VST (Izotopes)
Problem (partially) solved. In short: the track was cursed! Full story: (I have almost finished the song using previous lucky 'mixdown to new' vocals from that problematic VST3 track.) Then in another project I've recreated the VST3 fx chain --> VST fx chain too. The mixdowns of both were iden...

Re: Clip Names Colour
BTW, did you update? Your description says M9 442, and that is where the clip names were still dark.
I have updated to 452 and it changed the color to white on dark clips.
What made me unhappy might be your relief

Re: Clip Names Colour
This was changeable in v8 mixskin.ini "[clip-text color]". That's good to know actually. I'm not to code-wise, so I'm usually not digging in it and only use options provided by makers. And what was [clip-data color] responsible for? I find the dark text hard to see on some of the clips. I want them...

You can, but what's the point?Rolling Estonian wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 8:37 amIf you open project in 9 then do 'save as', can't you select where you want it to go?
I bet it's the worst thing to do to have project file elswhere than relevant project folder

'Save As' of existing project doesn't create a new project folder.

Re: Song bpm won't match/fit loop bpm
Hi.
I've asked about it too, here's the thread:
https://forums.acoustica.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25372
But if you don't wanna read, the conclusion was that it only loops the samples with tempo metadata.
If they only have a bpm in the name of the file it won't loop and you have to do it manually.

Re: Converting Projects to Mixcraft 9
Reinstalling MX9 with the MX8 boxes checked would probably be the quickest and easiest solution. I doesn't change much I think, as you still stay with the v8 folders, and only change double left click to single right and open with. Or I'm wrong and it's making you all new v9 project folders for all...

Re: Converting Projects to Mixcraft 9
It's saving as new project file, but not the new project folder. I still have the new ones in v8 folders, it doesn't matter. But if you really want to have them in new v9 project folders, you have to use File --> copy project files to --> folder, with your project open in v9. SO: you can't delete th...

Re: Converting Projects to Mixcraft 9
No, you don't have to. You have to open the MX8 project with right click and 'open with' --> Mixcraft 9.
Than you have to save project as MX9 file and you can keep both 8 & 9 project files just in case or delete v8.

Re: VST3 to VST (Izotopes)
The bottom VST3 is cleaner, the top VST is visibly 'louder' but in fact is only more of a hiss(?).
It's unpleasant comparing to v3.

Re: VST3 to VST (Izotopes)
I've checked it all few times already, can't spot any difference :? There was not 'that' much to do, as I start with the presets and fine-tune them only at some sections. The only plugin in the chain that was not showing me exact numbers is RX Dialogue, so I have saved it as preset and opened in new...

VST3 to VST (Izotopes)
Hi. I have recently run through some crashes of Nectar2 and some other Izotope plug-ins. The suspicion went towards VST3 versions of above. I have completely replaced the VST3 fx chain (RX Dialogue - Neutron - Nectar2 - Neutron) with the same VST chain on duplicated track. I have recreated every sin...

Re: Clip Names Colour
Well, than would be nice to leave the choice. You get used to something, like it and it changes to worse... Maybe few more options in display prefs? - White / black clip name to choose for good - And where you can hide the clip buttons, you can only hide them all. Would be nice to get rid of the blo...

Re: Clip Names Colour
I don't know... I have the same theme and track colour for a long, long time. Last update changed this: MC1.jpg Into this: MC2.jpg And that's what you see with the smaller clips: MC3.jpg Both - ugly and distorting  So you say, now I have to change track colours to get rid of this? Why, oh why...

Clip Names Colour
Hi!
Just updated to v452 and all the active clip names changed from black to white.
How do I make them black again? Can't find it in prefs and it looks horrible.
Also: did you make the whole layout lighter, or that clipnames changed my vision?
