Some (Messiah 2 related?) crashes and other little issues
Hi! In the last hour I've experienced more Mixcraft crashes than in all friendship since v7  All of them happened during deleting of muted tracks recorded with Messiah 2 64. I wasn't using M1 to much, but about 2 weeks ago I've started heavily testing the Messiah 2 as I fell in love with the ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi! Does anybody else find the '+1 LOOP' button more dangerous than usefull? It's so close and similiar to the MUTE button, that working with longer clips or bigger zoom (especially with many lanes where you have to mute/unmute clips a lot) gives a high chance of adding unwanted extra loops, coverin...

Re: Library add-on idea
Well, it would be usefull indeed. Sometimes even switching between mouse and keyboard makes you loose the flow... So here' another request: make 'rate adjustment' and BPM arrows scroll up and down when pressed and held. Now they only go one by click. Again, you can use the keyboard and set it to des...

Re: Internet release format
Another technical question :) When I prepared my tracks for mp3s and mp4s, I have set them to -0,0 in Ozone on master. So all the projects and waves are also up to this level. Now I want some of them to go to CD. What is the best way to set it properly? Lower it down in Ozones Maximizer and therefor...

Re: two screens with Mixcraft?
Hi!
Same here, but just with one screen. I undock all the tabs (sound, projest, library & mixer) and put them in lower right corner, almost completely out of screen, to grab them only when needed and have all screen for the tracks. But it goes back to primary position on every next project run.

Re: v8 + v9 ?
Hi,
No problem keeping them both. I have 7, 8 & 9 installed at the moment
Just don't overwrite the project file if you want to use it back in 8.

MC9 First Impressions
Hi! Upgrade and instalation went really smooth, also Melodyne by following your e-mail (I didn't even activate it in 8, but you made me curious about changing audio to midi!) As described before, I also have no Voltage Modular vst and no code at products tab - ticket sent. All the settings, vst fold...

Re: Loops / One-shots
Yeah, probably it's some metadata matter. I'm using only wav and ogg and shurely not mp3s for it  Loop start / loop end from your picture is not helping, because I don't want to cut off anything, It's already prepared to stay as it is. So looks like the only way to match the project is to chan...

Re: Loops / One-shots
Ok, but I'm not talking only about Mixcrafts library, I've got collection of my own loops/samples too. And it's not about the lenght of sound also. What determines sample to behave lika a loop? Lets say, I'm building a drums at 91 bpm, then pick-up random bass at different tempo and it 'loops' and m...

Loops / One-shots
Hi guys! I've been using Mixcraft since v7, but not to often with the loop-samples and I'm a bit confused: what makes some samples come to the timeline as loops and the others as one-shot? I mean some samples come perfectly stretch to the bars, even if they are at different bpm than the project, and...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi! You may already know this, but you can copy and paste clips from one project to another by opening the first project, copying the clips, then opening the second project within the same instance of Mixcraft, and pasting. Can you do the same with the whole tracks somehow? Many pages of this thread...

Re: Internet release format
As I was absent here for a long time - hello again everyone! Yes, I've sticked to wav and mp3, and I'm happy with it. However, got the question about the way you do. When you compress to mp3 - do you export straight from the project, or you're compressing the wave file? Most people I know say, they ...

Re: SubMix & Mix to new track
Hi Greg.
No, I didn't. Quickly went thru forum and it didn't tell me much about, so I will have to look for my manual book
But it also mention 'audio', so if you want to tell me what are the differences or advatages over mixing down to new, then go on
Greetings

Re: SubMix & Mix to new track
Mark Bliss - thanks for your valuable post. Not much new , but gave me confidence that I didn't go crazy... Step one, save your current project. Any changes can be renamed by using "save as" preserving your original work in case something goes awry. I'm a man of milion saves and backups, and all imp...

Just posted back to Greg and realised Mark replied too. So if anything is already explained, I'll be reading it now
