Apparently I have 4 days left in my trial period??? **#@* Anyway, neither my Mixcraft nor my Gold Bundle registration codes are being accepted. Now I can't even download the program because I have...

Is it just my failing eyesight or is the Forum missing a "Log in" button?

Depends on the song. A little Compression. (Acoustica Compression default) Acoustica EQ (Vocal Presence Boost) A little reverb. (Less than anything else except your acoustic guitar) puts you up front. Something like that. Or go into one of the demo songs "Crazy About My Baby" and listen to...

"Hi, You could also give Acoustica MP3 CD Burner a try. Greg" What? You could also change the name to "Acoustica CD Burner". You know, we've discussed in the past how Mixcraft gets a little complicated when it's time to burn a CD. Looks like all you really needed was to link Mixc...

I was a huge supporter of Vista for the longest time but finally even I gave up.
I've gone back to Windows XP Home but the best I've had is XP Pro.
It only takes one glitch to ruin a recording and more often than not, in Vista there is one.

Nero works great for me. Mixcraft gets a little dodgy when it comes to burning CDs. The only hiccup I've found in any of Acoustica's software. As for skipping, they're all good as far as I know but I'd keep in mind that the slower you burn, the more time you are allowing your machine to make mistake...

Mixcraft has everything on one page.
Simple and easy to understand.
What you're looking at is the mastering suite if that's what you're asking.

You'll need an interface if you want your song brokem down into individual tracks in Mixcraft. A mixer will only give you two tracks (Left and Right) which you could assign "Vocal" & "Guitar" e.g. but any more than that, you're hooped. USB and Firewire interfaces are very goo...

There may be others but Antares Auto Tune I think is the one that Cher used. (unfortunately). It was fine for Cher on one song but the software has been over used by many artists since then. That's just my personal opinion, of course and like any other tool in the right hands, it does have its uses....

The Fast Track Pro is part of the problem. I have one and have been very happy with it but it does have its limitations and does not handle working at the higher bit/sample rates. You'll probably find that the crackling starts partway through a song and once started, only gets worse. Andrew is spot ...
