Daltonx: Sounds like we're both from the same generation. You need an extra pair of ears, is what I think and not your wife. Someone who will criticize and to whom you will listen. (You know what I mean) As for effects... The default setting for "Acoustica Reverb" e.g. is just about right for my voc...

There are two settings on the 1/4" "Line In" on the back of your M Audio device. Did you try both?

Okay: So I figured out the answer to part two of my dilemma. Go to "File", "Save as" open "Wave Files" then click on "Edit Details". When that opens I click on "Configure" to select "Mono" and Robert is your mother's brother. Now I'll check to see if this actually cuts the file size by half. If it d...

Taking Mixcraft wave files to other studio.

Not the answer I was hoping for but thanks just the same. I'm brand new to Mixcraft and absolutely blown away by this product. Maybe I'll see just how expensive those others are.
Cheers!

Hi: At the risk of sounding incredibly naive, can you explain what the "Project to key" function accomplishes. I am presuming that it takes the whole track up or down to the desired key, however.... 1) Will it find & repair isolated pitch errors in vocal tracks at the same time? 2) Once I've selecte...
