Or start a new project.
It will take me forever to discard my old files.
Thanks for the advice.

Other than that, I'd rank this up there with "Sure Thing". Actually, let me take that back. I've just spent the whole day trying to add a bar code on one of my Sure Thing covers and am now sitting on my hands while the same program burns one Lightscribe label at a time. With apologies to CD Baby, I...

So you'd have to strike up a deal with an existing CD Burner software group and then include their download with Mixcraft?

Thanks Greg: On the second thing, I'm changing that one by accident so don't know if others are doing the same.
Change colours for fold lines in preferences. Got it. Great!
Cheers!

Couple of suggestions/requests

Just a couple of small things that I found when putting my covers together. 1) The alignment setting. If each setting could be saved for each project, it would save me a lot of paper & ink. I do one side larger than the other so that they lign up better when I cut on the outlines. Clear as mud? 2) S...

Burning to CDs

Just a quick twopence worth about burning to CDs from Mixcraft then I'll never bring it up again. "It's complicated!" That's it. Regardless of how well you explain it, it's a weak link in the chain and at a very crucial point in the recording process. The temptation is there to just take the final f...

Shure SM 58 ... There you go! Dynamic Microphones and this includes ribbons, require much more gain than condenser microphones. 60-80Db would give you the headroom you need. I don't know what your preamps offer but I'd suggest a condenser microphone (AKG Perception 100 sells at $99) or a larger prea...

One consistent factor in the reviews is "It's noisy". I would walk away for that reason but it's a great looking piece of equipment.

Remember way up there when I suggested reading the reviews? Here. http://www.zzounds.com/productreview--ALEMULTIMIX8USB I suppose in your case it doesn't matter whether you buy from a shop or go online. You won't be playing with it on the same day anyway so returning by mail is probably just as chea...

Echo Mona suggests turning off your system sounds since they can come on at the wrong times, especially during driver downloads and cause these kinds of problems.
Could also be that Microsoft updated & restarted while you were out.

Not at all!
Behringer's a great tool to have but down the road you'd probably end up having to buy something else for recording.
