Hi It seems that you are running out of memory or your settings are wrong. Look at your "Start" button and see what is being loaded and activated. I am assuming that you have more than 1 mg of Memory. Close all open programs before starting SIA. I use 4 mg of memory and after recording about 5 album...

Hi Eric and all

I finally got the belt just after new years.
There might be some interest in the cost; $5.46 plus taxes installed.
I was so stunned at the price I forgot to get another for backup.

Hi
To use a USB computer input to input sound, you need a USB Device.
There is some discussion on the internet on this subject.

Hi Izzy Whichever way that you go, you should review your settings. We were a bit remiss in not asking you to do so from the beginning. In the settings box on the "What would you like to do" page the settings s/b Playback Device [your sound card] Recording Device [Your Sound card for the 'Line In' m...

Hi Izzy The way that I [and many others] hook up is by using an Ipod cord [or more sturdy similar cord] to go directly from an Earphone Jack to the computers line in input. This type of hookup isn't approved by SIA but I have been sucessfully using it for over 2 years. I just had too many problems w...

HI I agree on the Sound Blaster. In records there is a lot of quick changes in Volume; i.e. even external loud sounds inserted into rhe music. RAM is in pairs so it's 2 or 4 as I understand it; [Also 2 X 500 MB is a pair]. I Just realized that you can get 3GB by using a 1 GB + a 500 MB on each side....

Hi I just took a good look at what you have sent. From that, I think that your RCA's could be suspect. Wiggle them as you are using them and see if the noise changes as you do. If you find a problem change the cords to the best that you can find. SIA sells good ones. Also check all cords and connect...

Hi I think that I may have had that problem earlier. Perhaps your turntable or stereo [or both] have TWO electric prongs of the same size. If so, turn them [one at a time and test] over so that it will reverse the positive or negative connection. However, if you have 3 prongs on both or have 1 large...

Hi
The USB codec is the recording device and the Sigmatel is your playback device . If not, check your "Sounds and Audio Device" listed in your control panel [sub Audio]. What is listed under Audio s/b your playback device.

Hi
Check your Audio Settings. Settings are located at the bottom right of the start [main] page. The Recording Device s/b your device and your Playback Device S/b your Sound Card. Do not not select Default Wave Device. That is your computers volume control.

Hi Volume Control is the bane of all rerecording. Even Songs on the same LP Album can have huge differences in Volume. SIA briliantly solves this by placing a percentage [%] volume control for each song while digitizing in Edit View, if you feel that you need it. [If you haven't noticed it yet; it i...

Hi Barb
Glad that you a working with the program and having some success.
One downside to how you are hooked up; Mike Jacks are usually Mono. To get stereo, you need to use the "Line In" Jack on your computer instead.

Good Luck

This has occured before. Do a search of this forum.
